"Did he or did he not kill a woman at Chappaquiddic" Ann Coulter

On Hannity and Colmes, While discussing the requirements of a Supreme Court nominee, Ann just sarcastically noted that it was ok to kill a girl at Chappiquiddic. Colmes said that was a low blow and that comment was below her.

WHY??? WHAT is so darned SACRED about mentioning the truth???

Ann said, "Why..."

Colmes didn't answer, and the set was quiet.

Hannity and Reagan (another guest) should have spoken up.

This is another example of "The Emperor is NAKED!"

Is he out there boasting about it or something? It was an ACCIDENT.

If it were you, you'd still be in jail for your "accident"

"To repeatedly attack and accuse him years on end over a tragic accident is cheap and low IMHO."

You're right, because after all he has shown an extraordinary amount of remorse over his "mistake". /sarcasm

Robert Bork was asked recently if his confirmation hearing experience effected his opinion of Ted Kennedy. Bork said it did not, saying he had a pretty low opinion of Kennedy before the confirmation hearing and the hearings didn't change that. LOL!

I saw the shocked looks also. Don't know why, they all seemed so shocked by the truth. Its all been out there for years. Maybe its the fact that Ann has the guts to say the facts on tv that has them all shocked......By the way I heard, I believe on C-span the other night that fat Teddy went home the night of the accident [with the girl still in the water] and ordered two large pizza to be delivered. Devoured them , then passed out. Don't know if its true, but if it is , it wouldn't shock me at all.

"If you were the driver, responsible for the death of a young woman in your car, you'd probably still be in prison."

I think most states would have classified this as "manslaughter." Not much jail time, if any.

It is one thing to be drunk, and acidentally killed a passenger in your car. One can regret the act, but the main issue on Ted Kennedy is the cover up, the misuse of officials on his behalf, paying hush money and etc, etc, etc. Ted Kennedy's actions after the drowning has major implications for those involved in the coverup. Many of them are still alive and moved up in politics and government.

Alan's radio show comes on here in the D/FW area in an hour...betcha he has a bunch to say about it on his radio show, when he doesn't have to argue with Ann or Hannity!

Coulter has a gift of stating the truth with such clarity that attempts to evade or obfuscate just wither instantly. Colmes looked like he'd been slapped in the face. It was magnificent!

I'll agree with you to a certain point.

If only swimmer lard ass Ted would stop making pronouncements and lying about the Bush administration, acting like he possesses a scintilla of moral authority, I'd probably stop mentioning that fact he is a murdering coward piece of human fecal matter

I'm sick to death of hearing about Chappaquiddic.(sic)

Yet, you chose to take the time to post a response on this thread. Sounds like you're a masochist.

Maybe you wouldn't get so ill if Teddy had left your sister to suffocate in the backseat of his car and a sack of bootleg money on your back porch.

What is Mr. Kennedy's qualification to be a senator?

He is fully qualified to take your money by law and spend it on those things that suit his own conscience (as if he has one), convenience, and constituancy to which he desires to ingratiate himself at your expense. Trust him.

They had no problem trying to make a big deal out of the Bush DUI. I don't see what the problem is with stating facts about the Kennedy.

Amen to that.

It may have been a tragic accident when the car hit the water, but what happened after Teddy got out turned into a calculated plan..

"I don't understand how you can just 'drop' that???"

Same thing as the trolls who say sure Clinton is a dispicable person, but it's really low and unfeeling to keep after him all these years just because he perjured himself.

Nonsense. I know people who accidently killed others in their car, or with their car.
They are not in jail but their hearts are broken.
I find it almost demonic that others would ever use such a tragedy to torment them with the memory of it.

I was more shocked at hearing Hannity's silence than Ann's saying the obvious. I doubt this will go anywhere since it would have to be repeated over and over ... and we can't have that.

Good for her and I'm glad that people have heard this on national TV.

Is he out there boasting about it or something? It was an ACCIDENT. I don't understand how some people can decide it is cool to torment those who have had the tragedy in their lives of accidently killing somebody in a automobile accident

She did not die in the accident, she drowned. There was an air pocket in the car. Had Teddy tried to save her instead of swim away to save his own arse, she very well may be alive today.
