On Hannity and Colmes, While discussing the requirements of a Supreme Court nominee, Ann just sarcastically noted that it was ok to kill a girl at Chappiquiddic. Colmes said that was a low blow and that comment was below her.
WHY??? WHAT is so darned SACRED about mentioning the truth???
Ann said, "Why..."
Colmes didn't answer, and the set was quiet.
Hannity and Reagan (another guest) should have spoken up.
This is another example of "The Emperor is NAKED!"
If I were president and a seat on the SC opened up, I would announce Ann Coulter as the nominee within the hour just to watch the liberals' heads explode. Better yet, make her a federal prosecutor and sic her after Kennedy for murder and Kerry for treason.
"the set was dead quiet, and even Hannity did not have a good look on his face. even he appeared shocked to me."
I don't think Sean wants to be 'too' conservative, it would offend many of his 'good friend libs'.
Interesting point of view. :) Just wondering.... even if the young girl happened to be your sister or daughter? Just wondering........
Is he out there boasting about it or something? It was an ACCIDENT.
I don't understand how some people can decide it is cool to torment those who have had the tragedy in their lives of accidently killing somebody in a automobile accident.
I think it's despicable.
The circumstance under which she made this remark was during a discussion of a "Bad" Catholic. Mike Reagan said a Catholic who supports abortion is a Bad Catholic and Ann said, "Or somebody who kills a girl at Chappaquiddick."
She didn't say Teddy's name at that point. So all Catholics who have killed girls at Chappaquiddick are in deed and in fact "BAD CATHOLICS."
He's a liberal and his last name is Kennedy.
Stigma is only effective if it is attached.
Why is it "low" to confront him on this? He has been given a free pass on a murder. He is in public-respected-office.
To me, attacking this subject is a HIGH CALLING.
Look for O'Reilly to stick up for Kennedy against Coulter, as he stuck up for Kerry against the facts presented by the SBVfT.
"I don't think Sean wants to be 'too' conservative, it would offend many of his 'good friend libs'."
...and his entre to DC circles.
Hannity may have been shocked, but his list of "good friends" is pretty shocking to me.
Game, set, match....the Kennedy legacy (except for the idiots in Massachusetts, apparently)
Ann, you GO GIRL!
He'll always be the Chappaquiddic Kid to me.
Actually, the "good Catholic" exchange was Colmes' at his wimpiest ("How can you say who's a good Catholic? Blah, blah, blah...")
How meanspirited and hatefilled can you get.
It was an ACCIDENT.
He certainly cared about this person far more than those attempting to torment him with the memory of it.
"To repeatedly attack and accuse him years on end over a tragic accident is cheap and low IMHO"
The reason it is repeatedly brought up is Kennedy thunders like Elmer Gantry at real and imagined shortcomings of republicans, he is always on the attack, accusing this repub than that one of being somehow immoral. Yet this man, left his girlfriend hanging from her seat belt upside down in water, and dissappeared for 12 hours, while he sobered up and put a story together. He got a 30 day suspended sentence. 30 days! I utterly despise him....how dare he lecture anybody..
Saw the segment. Have the VCR set up to tape it ;-)
