On Hannity and Colmes, While discussing the requirements of a Supreme Court nominee, Ann just sarcastically noted that it was ok to kill a girl at Chappiquiddic. Colmes said that was a low blow and that comment was below her.
WHY??? WHAT is so darned SACRED about mentioning the truth???
Ann said, "Why..."
Colmes didn't answer, and the set was quiet.
Hannity and Reagan (another guest) should have spoken up.
This is another example of "The Emperor is NAKED!"
I love Ann. My kind of woman. Goes straight for the jugular. We Pub women really need to follow much more in her footsteps. We should practice for at least 15 minutes a day on some Dem. Will make us battle hardy for the 2006 and 2008 election cycles. I lovr it when Ann brushes up her attack techniques on Colmes. He's the perfect foil.
Maybe, maybe not. (adjusts tinfoil hat).
Mary Jo was a Catholic. There was no autopsy. The body was promptly cremated (not standard practice among Catholics in that day). Was that done to prevent any future exhumation and autopsy? Was she preggers? Did she threaten to go to the press? Did Teddy cover that up the only way he could? All sorts of possibilities come to mind.
While a "tragic accident" (which is the way the incident was spun by the press) wouldn't hurt his re-election bid (and may have helped with the sympathy vote), a "love child" darned sure would have.
You are soooooo right..We pub women need to get tougher like ann ..we need to nail any democrat, any where ,on any subject...Especially when the subject makes them squirm!!!!!!!Like teddy and mary Jo,Clinton and his rapes,anti-catholic bigotry on the part of dems like schumer.....
Didn't he run in the 1970s? I was a youngster but I seem to remember him announcing his intent to run from Faneuil Hall in Boston just like his brother.
"And we should go on asking it until EVERY demonrat who has stood by Teddy is out of office."
Including, Mr. John McCain.
I am interested in finding the link to this exact exchange. Anne coulter should be named to the Supreme court. She has more guts than any of these feckless individuals, including Hannity. I went to Faux's web sight and they don't have to balls to post that clip. I say let's elect Anne as President and Laura Ingrahm as Vice president.
Mostly ...
Ask her about Vincent Foster sometime.
ML/NJ
I would like to see her body exhumed and it known if she was actually pregnant. I wonder if her closest remaining relative could have it done when, if they are not already dead, her parents die. Wouldn't that be something to find out at this late date!?
Her body was cremated?
didn't laura bush kill someone also?
Not even close to the same circunstances.
The subject of Kennedy's drinking habit, and the "incident" at Chappaquiddick make Hannity very uneasy. He doesn't like it discussed on either of his programs. I wonder why?
No, it is not cheap. He is responsible for the death of a woman. He cut and ran, like a coward! This needs to be brought up again and again and again.
Aah, you are right! Alan Colmes is a handsome devil compared to that alien-looking James Carville.
These people you know who have done this. Do they continually slander others and question their morality?
Now that is an unappetizing thought!
1. He can't hold a private sector job.
2. He's a drunk.
3. He molests women.
"It may have been a tragic accident when the car hit the water, but what happened after Teddy got out turned into a calculated plan.."
That, my friend, is the bottom line.
He was drunk as a skunk, and I would have been placed in prison for leaving the scene.
In fact, I'd probably have been sent to the chair.
Rich boy Teddy got away with it, though.
"You don't know the kind of panic that might have precipitated his actions immediately following this accident."
Panic or not, it is illegal to flee the scene of a crime.
He didn't even call the cops.
I am sure the accident was exactly that, but he fled the scene and has the audacity to tell pretend he's morally superior than I.
The fact is, he should have went to jail, but his royal name kept him out of harm's way.
