Prayer Request
FRmail | July 19, 2005 | Brad's Gramma

Posted on 07/19/2005 10:23:43 PM PDT by Brad’s Gramma

Hi everyone....I received a FRmail from someone tonight regarding her son. Since she doesn't appear to be online, I don't feel I can include her screen name. If she wants SHE can let you know who she is.

Here's her FRmail...If it wouldn't be too much trouble would you mind posting a prayer request for my son? He is in crisis right now and may have to be hospitalized on a suicide watch. We aren't sure exactly what is wrong but hopefully will be able to get a full evaluation done now. This little guy is only 7 and has been having difficulties since at least age 3. Thanks so much. Blessings...

OK Prayer Warriors, I KNOW I've been hitting this list a lot lately, and if you want off the ping list, please let me know. It's OK.

But will you PLEASE pray for this poor baby who's hurting so badly? And his family? Thank you!

I'm still up, gramma! But not for long. (Looks like the kid's gonna let me rest tonight!)

even though I know that there was nothing else I could have done. Still there's that little voice back there ssaying....if only you had done better.

I know that voice! I tell him to shut up unless he has something productive to offer. ;-)

Sounds like a chemical imbalance. He is too young to be going through this. Prayers going Heavenward. Thanks for the first name. I like to make it personal.

You hang in there, sfimom. If support is not found within your own family, know you are doing the best thing looking for it *and accepting it* elsewhere. My dh was activated in the military and had to leave while we were a month from closing on our house last year. I moved our cat & children several states away, lived in a hotel for a month, coordinated the move into our new home, got the kids in new schools, etc., and not one relative offered to visit us (though, it is probably a blessing) to lend support.

FReepers are the best, and while only a handful might be able to physically help out, every other type of support here is yours for the asking.

Keep us posted on your progress. We are so sorry for the pain you and your little boy are going through.

That's great that she feels comfortable and safe asking questions. Keeping things inside herself because she wouldn't want to worry you more would be more difficult to work with.

You and your family have my cont'd prayers. :)
