TICK TOCK...............
More Patton music!
Evidently Joe "I lie for a living" Wilson mentioned that Hissy Matthews told Wilson that Rove said Wilson's wife was "fair game" - haven't seen Matthews since that was posted on FR.
Hmmmm...
That shouldn't really matter. She definitely has the correct approach that would bring our Republic back to what our Founders intended -- Government held to strict Constitutional standards.
Bush wants a fight. He's going to reward the base!
Be Seeing You,
Chris
Forget Gonzales. FNC / Stuart Taylor pitching Roberts ... Hugh Hewitt notes big unknown is where is Prescilla Owen & how well known she is to Bush + easy to fly Edith I to DC alongside Sen. Hutchinson.
"Right now, unaffiliated. I will still vote Repub, most likely. But they get no more of my money or time, until and unless they grow collective backbones and act like conservatives."
I have also been frustrated, especially because there is no viable alternative. I am feeling reeled in and taken for granted. They have to know we cannot vote with Howard, Move-on, etc. Feeling like a gambling chip a bit.
I am nervous (almost certain) that Mr Bush is going to go with a "moderate".(stab to the heart)
I do not want to hear about "timing" or whatever. You know?
There is very much more to do, and I agree a more fighting spirit is called for across the board.
I am still reeling from that emminent domain decision.
That is simply entirely corrupt. I still cannot believe it...
These judges need to be reeled in.
Now.
...stop...just...stop...
Brown has plenty record - far more than most. That is why the Demodogs are so opposed to her, and why conervatives love her.
And we haven't even considered the positive consequences that will occur when 'Big Brother 6' is relegated to the re-run Saturday night dustbin tonight!
LOL!
I hope W walks to the podium tonight wearing a neck-brace (Just to remind everyone what Teddy did 36 years ago today).
I don't think any FReepers: male or female - would mind Ann Coulter. Certainly I wouldn't - she's been part of my "about" page for at least four years ;-)
I can still remember the night that my father set up the old Bell and Howell tape recorder (with the microphone on a little plastic stand) in front the the television to tape the televised statement that Teddy made after Chappaquiddick. (This was before VCR's for those of you too young to remember.)
Dad said that he was going to tape this for posterity, because surely this man was going to run for President some day.
she has academic record + speeches & state level opinions - she only started serving on court of appeals recently. I am a big fan of hers & would support her to the hilt but just my take ...
It's just not about rewarding his base, though. I'm a darn Dem and I want him to nominate an originalist. If he does, he'll be fulfilling his oath of office.
Levin now playing Patton soundtack music through the entire show...lol!
Hugh said that it would probably be Reid...they don't want Boxer out there, saying she can't even pronounce "stare decisis"...Hewitt also said that they don't want Teddy, that "Jabba the Kennedy" hadn't been hitting for average lately...
Morning glory and evening grace to all of you!
We've also heard, via Hannity, that the nominee may not be there tonight. Someone else mentioned a rumor of telecommuting equipment at the 5th Circuit in New Orleans. So Jones isn't necessarily out.
Also... what about Owen?
I thought Bush might be ready to pick a Souter. But I don't think so at this point. He's already PO'd the media and the dems. Anything less than a conservative pick and he'll have EVERYONE angry with him.
That said... this is all great political theater. Best I've seen in some time.
LOL. Except for FNC, the Weather Channel, and Mythbusters, our TVs are basically dust collectors :(
