TICK TOCK...............
Good gad. Are you joshing? Euw.
As has been noted earlier, Bill Kristol did that with the Homeland Security pick, to his and his "sources" peril.
LOL! I don't think she's too willing to give Larry a ride, since he SUED her once, too!
How will the media play the Karl Rove story now...try to undermine "the Bush credibility factor" and nomination process further with the "scandal", backing away from it a while, changing the "story" focus yet again...any predictions?
I think it actually might be a positive for the country that 'I Want to be a Hilton' has been pre-empted tonight for news.
The ones who are yakking don't know. And the ones who do know ain't yakking :)
Now THAT'S a podcast I'd love to hear. Does he offer it?
Guys, we only have 2 1/2 hours until we know the reality of who the pick will be. Can we please spend just 10 minutes fantasizing about if it were Coulter? I KNOW it won't be her, of course. But can we not indulge in imagining it and the reaction? Pelosi, Specter, ELEANOR friggin' Clift, Alan Colmes, Michael Moore...
Hilarious!
I don't know. Speaking for the Liberty household, we're in stitches. It's good theater. We're getting ready to have dinner right now, right Miss Slippy??
This is the wrong thread to get into an argument about our Great President Bush, but it is wrong to let your "shot" about his not being a visionary left unresponded to.
President Bush's Liberty Doctrine IS visionary, and you will find that will be the controlling doctrine of the 21st Century. You have a lot of study to do if you don't comprehend how important this is. There is only one other policy in the nation's history that has been as controlling as the Liberty Doctrine will prove to be: the Monroe Doctrine.
The press hates it, the liberals discount it, those of isolationist bent disagree, even the Pope (John Paul) wasn't happy about President Bush's application of it, nevertheless, it will prove to be the only way Civilization can survive, and all civilized nations will eventually get on board with the U.S. - and President Bush has led the way.

In my world, the word "beautiful" is an adjective that I only apply to my wife.
Both of the women I mentioned appear quite presentable, IMHO, so I don't know what one you are thinking of in your question.
Thank you, Mr. President!!!!!
Thanks...
Hank Hill would be a FINE choice......I tell ya what!
(Dale....I mean Rusty Shackleford seconds that.)
Here's the opening of tonights speech:
My fellow Americans,
Today is known to all as the anniversary of the day that Ted Kennedy left a young staff woman to die in the waters of Chappaquiddick. I hope to make this day honorable again with the nomination of a fine American to the Supreme Court.
It is amazing that with this spotted record, Kennedy is considered qualified to serve in the Senate. I hope he will show some sense of proportion in discussing the qualifications of the person I am nominating tonight for the Supreme Court.
I'm off to the kitchen.
I'm still holding out for my candidate: Senator Mitch McConnell.
(A long shot, I know, but he's been awfully "dignified" lately---though still slicing/dicing his opponents' arguments.)
Abcnews say sources have confirmed it isn't Luttig just like they confirmed it wasn't clement.
It gets worse.
Edith Jones is out to she was seen late this afternoon in Houston.
The 3rd ciruit judge I think Albito was seen late this afternoon in Philly.
With Luttig, Jones, and Clement out I am getting nervous about Gonzalez.
Roberts is in town but the fact that Gonzalez suddenly cancelled an apearence yesterday in boston to rush back to washington is worrying. Spector being happy reportedly makes me think it could be gonzalez.
