The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse -  the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

When I got home Greta's program was half over. I will watch the re-run at 10pm. Mickey John is really ticked and who can blame this poor fellow. This is what kind of people the Van der Sloots are. They just thought easy, we'll pin it on a couple of black security guards. You know I honestly believe the young Satish. I believe that the elder Van der Sloot was in on the PLAN to construct the cover story. He's a POS!! He cares about nothing but saving THEIR behinds. He has no feelings for the parents of Natalee. He does NOT understand or empathize with their pain.

That is something I wonder whether the Arubans realize: many tourists down there this summer probably could not cancel flights/reservations without losing their money, so decided to go anyway. And this is their low season. Come fall and winter, they may find they no longer have a "high" season, unless they're referring to the drug trade.

Definitely! Ideally, that's the only way things will change down there. Imagine how it's been in the past down there? I wonder how many injustices have occurred already? I heard on one thread that I've read that someone threw a rock through the VDS's window. I don't know if it's true or not. There will have to be a change from within to change the law enforcement situation in Aruba. There can be a lot of pressure to bear by not travelling there. I've heard that 70% of Aruba's economy depends on tourism. Of that 70%, 73% of that was from American tourists.

My husband is a Lawyer kcvl although he doesn't practice criminal or litigation law anymore. We do strictly business law/corporate/Wills/Estates etc. (I work for him). However, I get to talk to Lawyers every single day. The other night my husband said there is such a thing as "corpus delecti" strictly meaning in latin, delicious corpse. Because without a corpse it is going to be very difficult to prove this case. That is, unless they can break the kid. I pray that this Government, if under enough outside pressure and the possibility of losing perhaps a BILLION dollars of tourist business a year, will allow someone like the FBI or strictly detached Dutch detectives actually take and break this snot kid. It's just my opinion but I feel like that pretty much ALL of the culprits original efforts were in getting rid of the body. Where I don't know because they were short of time but they are not short of knowledge of the Island.

This was on the Riehl World Website. It is on the first page and seems to be written by the owner of the site. He states that it is not confirmed but it seems to be stronger than pure speculation. I didn't see it posted here and am not sure whether Riehl World is considered reliable in any way.

Howlin, I think Croes knew Deepak or wanted to know Deepak from the Internet cafe. That is the extent of his involvement. It is hard to understand WHY he would do this for such a stupid reason isn't it?
