The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse -  the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

It is my understanding that the hosting IM company (AOL, Yahoo, MSN, etc.) keeps the IM's for a period of about 3 years. LE would then subpoena the host to retrieve the IM's.

I thought I'd heard about that in another case and am glad you remember the details of how that works.

Sure looks like to me she did not even intend to go with Joren. And there was a link yesterday to an article on the Dark Side about the practice called carving out where males surround the female victim to separate her from her group which it seems is sadly a common practice in the region. Block her from their view and they from hers and just sort of jostle her along to the waiting car or whatever.

This sounds EXACTLY like the actions of the man I knew from Aruba. Mind you, it was very many years ago that I knew him.

I have heard rumors to the effect that NH's dad was in either the Special Forces or Special Ops. in the past, but I have not been able to confirm it. I did Google and find a David Holloway listed with pictures, but it is not Natalee's dad. I know these men, and if he was SF, then JvdS has a major problem.

Aruba judge orders release of disc jockey

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) — A judge ordered Aruban police Sunday to release a party boat disc jockey held in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, saying authorities did not have enough evidence against him, the man's lawyer said.

Steven Gregory Croes, 26, is one of five people held in the disappearance of Holloway, an Alabama honors student last seen in the early hours of May 30. None of the five, including an island judicial official and his 17-year-old son, has been charged in the case.

Searches for Holloway have been fruitless.

"The judge agreed there is not enough proof he was involved to keep holding him," said Croes' lawyer, Eleni Lotter-Homan.

Croes, who was detained June 17, will be released Monday, Lotter-Homan said. He is a disc jockey on the party boat Tattoo, which offers nightly dining, dancing and swimming.

Joran van der Sloot, 17, and Surinamese brothers Deepak Kalpoe, 21, and Satish Kalpoe, 18, were the last ones seen with Holloway, 18, of Mountain Brook, Ala. Her passport and packed bags were found in her room.

After a night of eating, drinking and dancing at Carlos' N' Charlie's restaurant, the three men initially told police they took Holloway to a northern beach before dropping her off at her hotel around 2 a.m.

But on Saturday, Satish Kalpoe's lawyer said his client admitted that his story was a lie.

Satish now claims that he and brother dropped Holloway and van der Sloot off together at the Marriott hotel, then went home, his lawyer, David Kock, said.

On Sunday, Kock said the brothers were becoming increasingly angry with van der Sloot and accusing him of changing his story to put the blame for Holloway's disappearance on them.

Kock would not elaborate.

Van der Sloot's lawyer, Antonio Carlo, said, "My client maintains his innocence."

The fifth person in custody is van der Sloot's father, Paul, 52.

It was not clear how the disc jockey might be connected to the other detainees. His employer said Croes told him he knew one of the Kalpoe brothers because they went to the same Internet cafe.
