The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse -  the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

Dominick Dunne: I did not even think of Michael Skakel until a report called "The Sutton Report," which had been commissioned by the father Skakel to clear the name of his son Tommy, who had been the chief suspect for years. The Sutton Agency was a group of private detectives who signed confidentiality oaths when they went on the case for Mr. Skakel. It was one of the great ironies of this story that the private detectives hired by Mr. Skakel were the ones who first discovered that it was Michael, not Tommy, who had committed the murder. The report took three years and cost $750,000. Right after it was presented, the money was paid, the project was called off, but there was one person at the agency who had not signed the confidentiality oath, and he took the report and brought it to me. That was when I realized that it was Michael, who had never been a suspect before. And that was 1995 or 1996.

Just a word about Rudy Croes; while I was reading the CTV boards last night, they kept saying that Rudy had been unreliable in the past -- and that he was the one who first said that Natalee was dead and had to retract it.

I couldn't find a link or a quote anywhere over there to back it up, but I saw more than one person say he wasn't reliable.

For some reaon, when I watch those Arbuan government people talking, I keep thinking of that character Martin Short use to play on Saturday Night Live, the one that was sweating all the time and being interviewed by a "Mike Wallace" actor. I can never tell whether they are spouting the government line or covering their butts.

I don't know if there's a "fifth."

Is Dad passing signals to his son? That's what I'd watch for.

Thanks for the details. I think I heard/saw DD on tv, talking about the person Skakel's lawyers hadn't made sign that confidentiality oath, and that he'd sent the ms. to DD. Talk about for the want of a nail a shoe was lost, etc. etc.

I heard that guy on FNC too. He said a few states in this country have the same law, but it's rare.

Parent has to testify as to what he "saw". So if Papa Sloot saw Nat's body lying in bushes, he has to say. If mama Sloot saw freshly laundered clothes of Jorans, she has to say. If Joran never touched a washing machine prior to this, she has to say.

you can find out alot by what the mama saw in my opinion.

Hi, cajungirl. I heard a guy talk about Aruban law as it relates to what parents have to testify to with regard to their kids. It was around 4:00 or so, IIRC.

Maybe some else came on FNC to clarify or with better information. So that's a lot that parents would have to testify to, in reality.

I have a feeling the father would lie for his son, but I don't think the mother would. In fact, in her interview, didn't I hear her say "why did they let the boys go; they should have kept asking them questions."
