Quick heads up.
Sean Hannity announced that Zell Miller is coming on his radio show to discuss Dick Durbin.
I'll provide a link to hannity online shortly.
FRegards....
MOD UPDATE:
Transcript also there.
I think, not sure, but think that Kit Bond might have a son in the military, or Inhofe..for some reason, I get them mixed up...but I believe it is Bond...
Your post 286. I shout BRAVO and ask that you send this to your local editor and then all the way to the NYT. Don't just waste it on Durbin. Very well written and straight from the heart.
Thanks for that info.
I have finally read the whole thread, and I have to say that I think you are either naive re: Sen. McCain, or you have a bad case of wishful thinking...
If Sen. McCain says anything about this it will be wishy-washy, something like, "Well, Sen. Durbin shouldn't have said what he did, but we do need to have an investigation so that we can make sure, that the detainees are being take care of with the values that Americans live by..."
Something like that....betcha!
Hi - check your FReepmail
May I say again. Senator McCain hates Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld more than he loves this country.
Sorry I missed that. Can you tell me who Turban Durbin's contributors are?
But .. they do hang people!
We'll see. You're definitely alone in that opinion. But you know, it feels good to think the best of McCain right now. FRegards.....
"...We'll see. You're definitely alone in that opinion...." Urg... not alone ... not alone....
Pretty much .. but he was yelling over John so much - it was hard to figure out what he was saying - then he ended up telling John to ask Bush - because it was all Bush's fault.
Yes, I changed my mind and sent her a copy of the same letter I sent to Vitter, with a few little additions.
I didn't think anybody listened to SNL any more. What a surprise!
Yeah--sure, everything is Bush's fault---
Do you know who I keep thinking about today for some reason? It is that Army guy that was in Baghdad last year, and shot his gun to the side and above the head of a terrorist, in order to get information, that he later used to keep his troops safe...
HE was court-martialed, I beleive, and his rank was dropped so far, that he had to leave the service, even though he wanted to be a "lifer"---I hated that decision--he saved his men...
So, today I compare that man, to Durbin, and I would rather have men like the Army guy running this country, even though he was court-martialed than Durbin, any day!
Wondered where the airlines went when Daschole left.
Why is it every time I say anything to you - you go on the attack. You're the one who needs to lighten up - but you can be guaranteed I will not ever bother you again. You're too rude.
I would bet they play both sides, they probably have to.
