Sorry I am so late on this, but I agree. Rita would have never let that interview end with "You have made your point." She would have dogged the guy. He made the comment twice, and the first time the interviewer..Jamie Colby??? just moved on like he didn't even say it! I thought Rita was very good on Big Story. I hope she makes it big at MSNBC. God knows they need a boost.

Thanks for that. I tried to find a shot of the facility but so far I cannot. Believe me it could house several thousands not hundreds.

When I get chance I am going to look through my old videotapes I took when i was there. I'm quite sure I took video of the prison.

A girl from Aruba who posted here yesterday and before that wrote that "Lorenzo" (who the police talked with just before bringing in S. Croes) had Natalee in the basement of his house. Now we have not heard anything about Lorenzo and that story since.

Yeah, I saw your 1943 right after I posted and wished I had taken the extra effort to connect the two things instead of getting lazy.

I've been trying to remember more specifics about that helicopter search, but the only thing I can remember was that the search was conducted at night. And I'm not even 100% sure of THAT.

Shortly after I heard about the infrared search, I read the "Lorenzo's basement" story at SM or somewhere. Gave me a cold chill when I read it.

Aruba: Decapitation Story Confirmed

A reliable source on the island of Aruba has confirmed reports of a recent murder / decapitation, and also confirmed reports of another murder currently under investigation in Aruba. A third report regarding a possible new missing person report filed today has not been confirmed at this time.

Additionally, sources close to the Natalee Holloway investigation have indicated to me that there appear to be serious problems developing in establishing a consistent time lime of events surrounding Natalee's disappearance. Problems stem from conflicts among stories by those being questioned, a growing list which now includes Father of Joran v d Sloot, Paulus v d Sloot.

It's possible that the time line as presented by the elder vd Sloot does not fit with other knowable facts in the case, resulting in his having been brought back for additional questioning.

Additionally, from other contacts who are known to be observing the Natalee Holloway investigation very closely on the ground in Aruba, there is growing concern that some of the lack of clarity in the troubling case could be the result of an attempt to minimize the impact of this tragic case on the tourism industry of Aruba.

While differences do exist between the system of justice in Aruba and a watchful America, many Americans are coming to feel more and more dissatisfied from an apparent lack of accountability to the public by Aruban authorities.

Now that I have seen a pix of big daddy, I think that's a possibility. What was that about him at Mikey D's at 3 a.m.? Being questioned for 6 hours? Son covering for dad? Dad's a gambler. Pay off debt? Wifey wouldn't give him any more money?

The only thing I'm sure of is.. His wife does look older than him!

I wonder what went wrong after that article was published approx 2 weeks ago? It sounded like they thought something big was going to happen in a couple days. Did what they thought happen or not??? God only knows what all is going on in Aruba. IMO, it seems like it's way more than those 3 guys grabbing Natalee. Very strange.

Now I'm thinking it's a distinct possibility.
