John Kerry may well give it another shot, as the candidate who came up just one state short in 2004, perhaps due to deliberately contrived long lines that held down Democratic turnout in Ohio. Kerry, older and wiser, will be armed with his formidable list of 2004 donors.

If I recall correctly, the long lines in Ohio were GOP voters who were not going home until they voted for W. If the democrats didn't want to wait in line, it tells you a lot about either them or their candidate. I wonder how many of Kerry's 2004 donors would pony up for him again.
