Rush just predicted that perhaps the CBC will march on the Senate this afternoon to try to block the Brown vote. What say ye all?I say "Christmas in June!"
To: katieanna
I hope the CBC tries it. I keep thinking of the Wicked Witch of the West (no, not HRC,-- the original one, in the movie!) saying, "Just try it... just try!"

Is anyone allowed to just walk onto the floor? I thought one could get arrested for that sort of thing?

Did you all notice how Teddy purposely had his black female aide closely and prominently behind him as he viciously attacked another black woman in his rant?
At one point he had her so close she could probably smell his breath, phew. Or smell something else. Something that blabby has to generate no small amount of flatulence.

But in my heart I don't know that he would still be a Dem.....of course I still haven't had the nerve to change my registration,I believe if they could see what has happened to the party in the last few years they might understand. Some of them though would tar and feather me and disown me for good measure.
When we switched parties, we sashayed(well I sashayed, hubby doesn't go in for that) down to the courthouse and changed the D to an R on our registration cards. The lady that handed us our new cards, smiled, winked, and said welcome aboard. I'll never forget that.

There probably is some kind of rule---after all the Senators always as for a UC when they want a different aide on the floor...BUT,
How are the CBC gonna have an impact in the parking lot?

Welcome back---we were just pondering if the CBC is going to try something this afternoon to show their displeasure with Justice Brown...
I am hoping so, because these senators are just repeating the same old speeches...except every once in a while you get Hatch or Gordon Smith veering off course and taking on Howard Dean instead...YAY

What I hated about Warner's speech, was the time he took for patting himself on the back for being in that blasted Gang of 15!We'll have to wait and see if he's still proud of what he did the next time he is up for reelection.

I will not predict an exact number, but, I will predict that Byrd and Landrieu will vote Aye. I predict Chafee will vote against. It should be closer that the Owen vote.
