Well I was not around in 36 but in 85 I wrote a paper for college comparing the New Deal to Socialism! They are voting on JRB at 5:00 edt, and then right after that vote, will vote on cloture for Pryor!
If sHrillary runs, I plan to donate plenty of money to whoever is her opponent. I make it a point to not talk politics with my more leftists friends, but even they look a little queasy lately with Screamin Dean as their chairperson, and Shrillary as their frontrunner. Let's hope that they alienate even more constituencies between now and then. (See my tag, LOL.)
When William Pryor comes up, you will really see Sessions tear into the Dems. He is friends with Pryor, nominated him for Alabama's Atty. General slot and recommended him to Bush for the judicial seat. Pryor is also a stand up guy who goes with the rule of law.
