We can't allow it! No apology needed by the way! :)

I will never believe she will president. When I was a flaming liberal dimocrap...I hated her.

Thanks.

I just faxed Senator Durbin this:

Via Fax: (202)228-0400 One of two pages
To: Senator Dick Durbin
From: Mrs.
Re: Judge Janice R. Brown
Date: June 8, 2005

Dear Senator Durbin,

I listened to you on CSPAN2 this morning and found your remarks about Judge Brown incorrect and misguided to say the least. Ms. Brown is amazingly candid and shows great intuitiveness about today’s over regulated government. Another point, everyone knows FDR’s social security was the first step into Socialism, which is a mainstream fact! To continue to harangue the lady with mendacious untruths, is not what my government is supposed to do, misinform the citizens by lying about nominees and smearing their good names.

No Matter which side of the isle your preference is, these are facts which we ought to ponder. We're traveling down a slippery slope. Truth is not always palatable but it is a better beacon to follow than fiction.

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised:

1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary,
2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual incomes into the Program,
3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,
4.) That the money the participants put into the independent "Trust Fund" rather than into the General operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program, and,
5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income.

Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month -- and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to "put away," you may be interested in the following:

Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent "Trust" fund and put it into the General fund so that Congress could spend it?

A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the Democratically-controlled House and Senate.

Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?

A: The Democratic Party.

Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?

A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the "tie-breaking" deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the U.S.

Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants?

A: Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive SSI Social Security payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!

Then, after doing all this lying and thieving and violation of the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!

And the worst part about it is, uninformed citizens believe it!

Very Truly Yours,

Copy any or all of this and send it to every one you know - the onbfuscating, socialist left is lying again. WE ARE THE PEOPLE - HEAR US ROAR!

I am counting on that attitude! Most people around here frown at the mention of her name, regardless of their political affiliation or lack there of. If she ever left DC or NY, she would be shocked to find that she is not nearly as popular as she thinks she is.

Boy these dems are stuck on the thought that Bush is supposed to ASK for their advice on judges...

NOPE--that isn't right, but Teddy even just said that the Gang of 15 even made it clear in their agreement that there was supposed to be "advice" by the Senate to the POTUS...

Did I just hear Teddy say that the constitution says that the SENATE is supposed to pick federal judges, but that in the last 8 days, the Gang or 15 has made it a compromise between the Senate and the POTUS---

Next breath, he is talking about student loans????

Ummm .. why is Fat Teddy screaming about having to pay interest on student loans??

Heck ... I don't like having pay interest on my house .. but if the banks didn't make money .. then they wouldn't have the money to loan me so that I could by my house

If she ever left DC or NY, she would be shocked to find that she is not nearly as popular as she thinks she is.

We'll see if she's dumb enough to try and run. The floodgates will be thrown wide open and she'll see just how much she is hated throughout the US.

Leaving her little insulated circle should be quiet an eye opener for her.

For a while in the decadent 90's, when Single Malts became all the rage..there was a company that was importing bottled water from the streams of Scotland...the theory that you should only drink your scotch with the same water used to make it...turned out they were just putting a label on NYC tap water..

Teddy,,, We don't get to talk about our health insurance, we have to talk about these "out of the mainstream" judges. The donks are really trying to change the subject. Hehehehehe.
