Dear Friends, Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
With great sadness I tell you that my Norman has passed away.
The last time I requested prayer, I was sad because he didn't seem to know I was there with him.
The Lord is good. The next day we got to spend about an hour of lucid time together. It was wonderful!
We talked about our love, our family, and the peace he felt about going "home." We shared memories and I got to thank him for sharing his life with me.
We even joked together! I told him, "You promised me a dance and it looks like I'll have to wait until I get to heaven to have it. But if I get up there and catch you dancing with another woman, you'll be in big trouble, Mister!" He loved that! LOL
Then he went back to sleep. His last words to me were "home" and "I love you." I can't tell you how much I cherish them. They have helped sustain me thru this terrible week.
He passed away peacefully, with our family holding hands praying for him.
I need you to keep me in your prayers as I try to survive the weeks ahead. We're financially devastated and I don't earn enough to carry the daily bills much less the medical bills that are falling like snow. I get wobbly and nauseous when I even have to talk about it.
His lovingkindness and grace are keeping me. I praise Him for His love and strength.
I am so grateful for your love and prayers. They mean more than I can say.
May He bless you immeasureably for your gift of love toward me. Once again, I am indebted to the Body of Christ for their support and strength.
Heartfelt love,
Barb
I am so sorry. My prayers are with you.
Beautiful words. God bless you.
He is in a better place now and awaiting you... you will surely be together for-ever when the time is right.
Godspeed.
Prayers are on the way.
Celebrate the love and joy Norman shared with you and all those who knew and loved him.
Norman is in the loving arms of the Lord.
Thoughts and prayers going out now...
I'm so sorry for your loss, and financial difficulties. Prayers up for you!
So sorry for your loss, may God bless, comfort and walk with you through these days. He will.
I am so very glad you had that precious time with him before he left. That was a blessing from God and you will treasure that in the times ahead.
He is gone now but that is only temporary and we should be ever so thankful that this life is not all there is.
Revelation 21:1 ¶And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
9 ¶And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Prayers on the way
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush, of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep.

Prayers for you and family. Be strong and lean on God as you start this new journey.
My prayers and sincere condolences. RIP, Norman.
Sincere condolences go out to you and your family. Prayers have been offered as well. God Bless You and yours.
Barb,
Tears are falling as I read your post. I am grieving with you. How difficult to say good by to your life mate. I am 63 and often think now and deal with the reality that someday one of us, is going to say " goodbye" for a short while to the other.Today dh is in Oregon, saying goodbye to a long friend of the family. A friend is hard enough, much less a mate.
What a precious moment you had with Norman. Praise God for that. Cherish it, and remember all the special moments that you have shared, as time goes on.
You can count on my prayers. I will add you to my prayer Journal.
Feel comforted with the assurance that Jesus is right there with you, along side of family and friends.
