Dear Friends, Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
With great sadness I tell you that my Norman has passed away.
The last time I requested prayer, I was sad because he didn't seem to know I was there with him.
The Lord is good. The next day we got to spend about an hour of lucid time together. It was wonderful!
We talked about our love, our family, and the peace he felt about going "home." We shared memories and I got to thank him for sharing his life with me.
We even joked together! I told him, "You promised me a dance and it looks like I'll have to wait until I get to heaven to have it. But if I get up there and catch you dancing with another woman, you'll be in big trouble, Mister!" He loved that! LOL
Then he went back to sleep. His last words to me were "home" and "I love you." I can't tell you how much I cherish them. They have helped sustain me thru this terrible week.
He passed away peacefully, with our family holding hands praying for him.
I need you to keep me in your prayers as I try to survive the weeks ahead. We're financially devastated and I don't earn enough to carry the daily bills much less the medical bills that are falling like snow. I get wobbly and nauseous when I even have to talk about it.
His lovingkindness and grace are keeping me. I praise Him for His love and strength.
I am so grateful for your love and prayers. They mean more than I can say.
May He bless you immeasureably for your gift of love toward me. Once again, I am indebted to the Body of Christ for their support and strength.
Heartfelt love,
Barb
A beautiful ending. You are both in my prayers and I'm sure you will be dancing in heaven.
You'll know each other again through God.
Prayers for your comfort, FRiend.
I am very sorry for your loss. It sounds like you shared a beautiful life together! My prayers are with you in your time of grief.
Our prayers were answered:)I am so glad you got a chance to say Good Bye-so hard, fatima
What a beautiful ending, and at the same time, a beginning. I am so sorry for your loss. Hubby and I will send prayers up. If there is a way to send a bit of cash, we will do that too.
I am so sorry for your loss -- will keep you and your family in my prayers and ask the Lord to provide. Your husband sounds like he was a wonderful man and so glad you had that last hour together.
God Be With You and Your Family.
My deepest condolences on your loss. Your husband was a fine man and I know someday you will be together again in the arms of the Lord who is the Father of us all.
May He be your comfort and your strength in this time of tribulations.
I am so sorry for your loss. I don't know you but my eyes are welling with tears for your sadness. Try to remember and cherish the good times you had together with your true love; I pray that God will give you strength to get through the days ahead. Thanks for sharing.

I'm so sorry to hear of your Norman's passing. Having gone through this just 7 months ago today, I know where you are at. May our Lord grant you His comfort and peace. And give you a better job. In the name of Jesus, amen.
I can only add an Amen to GailA's prayer. Be assured, better days are ahead.
I am very sorry for your loss. I will be praying for you.
Dear Barb,
I am greatful to know we will all meet again on that great day. I Praise God as He sustains you through this great loss, as only He can do.
Oh my dear friend.....I'm so sorry.
EW, may the Lord comfort you in your loss, and give assurances of the goodness of His faithfulness and the kindness of His will toward you, which cannot and will not be frustrated.
He will always walk with you no matter where you go, and one day you will manifestly have your Norman back, just as you have him in spirit now, and He will wipe every tear from your eyes.
He also will make a financial way for you through the darkness. What is impossible to man is possible with our majestic God, who knows no limits.
Please accept my prayers and thoughts of sadness at his Passing. God be with you in your grief.
Dear Barb, thank you for sharing with us the precious last moments you had with your beloved Norman. He's under God's wing now. My sympathy is with you because you'll miss him, but you know that someday you'll be with him again.
I'm so sorry for your loss. The length of the illness does not make the final loss any easier to bear. I'm praying for you, that you get through this grief.
You have my deepest condolences.
