Good morning all. Senate convenes at 9:30 am this morning, to vote on the nomination of Priscilla Owen. I've started the thread early, as I have to leave for a few hours, but also to give us a place to start commenting early on the events of yesterday....

They should. I guess giving him an hour on pub time to speak against Bolton is for Frist etc to demonstrate our "comity" and our side's not stifling freedom of expression.

I grew up with Dems and worked with them! My best friend and mentor was a Dem party Chairman, that hated Dems! LOL, but not enough Pubs! My Poli Sci chair was Republican Chairman! I learned many things! Many things! Anxious to work for George Allen!

Just think. The "dictator" term remonved a "pretense" for NK to go back to the talks. (Sounds pretty shaky to begin with.) And Bolton didn't change the term. Well, good for him.
That complaining ambassador will now be under Condi and Bolton. Maybe it's time for the wimp to retire.

Well I have no clue, can I buy a vowel?IF you are asking me to explain the Ohio senators' behaviors I am clueless too.
Without the national party money (that only comes in presidential years) the Democrat party is pretty weak here. They hold zero statewide offices in the executive branch. I think they still have two of seven supreme court seats, of course these races are "nonpartisan"
