Good morning all. Senate convenes at 9:30 am this morning, to vote on the nomination of Priscilla Owen. I've started the thread early, as I have to leave for a few hours, but also to give us a place to start commenting early on the events of yesterday....
LOL! Occasionally when I'd come home from work hubby would be stomping around mad about something he saw on CSPAN (he usually gets home very early afternoon). I'd say, You can't be watching CSPAN, it raises your blood pressure!
But I think it's a good thing now and then, lest we think a majority of these people deserve our respect. Most do not.
I have no idea where he is coming from and I should hate him, but oddly I do not! He's scared!

FWIW, I agree largely with what you said on his show. I think that Graham, Warner, DeWine wanted to give the donks one last chance.
Now, what I want to happen next is for Frist to push the donks hand, and bring to the floor those judges not covered in the deal. I suspect that is what Frist is going to do.
Isn't that the truth. His reaction to people who badmouth the US is quite different from what mine would be. What other countries does George think are going to jump in and spend blood and money to help us because of who we have at the UN? Wasn't Bowel diplomatic enough for him. Is he insulting our Secretary of State.
The jerk is methodically spouting liberal Dem talking points, particularly how our allies hate us.....and how we NEED their good will to exist.
