Good morning all. Senate convenes at 9:30 am this morning, to vote on the nomination of Priscilla Owen. I've started the thread early, as I have to leave for a few hours, but also to give us a place to start commenting early on the events of yesterday....
It has to have been at least an hour by now! MERCY!
I made it on Rush's show today before the 130 break and told him why I think he is wrong on this issue. He still thinks that we had the votes to nuke now, I think the squishy middle guys wanted to give the moderate Dems one more chance to stop obstructionism.

I heard you Rob. You put up some thoughtful insight to this issue. I think Rush has been a bit over the top on this and refuses to look at it any other way than his way.
This could hurt the majority of 55-45 we now enjoy come 2006. Hope not but we need to see how this plays out before sounding like DU.
