Not confirmed by Vatican officals yet.
Italian media is reporting this, as noted by Reuters.
MSNBC indicates that his vitals have gone "flatline", but no confirmation yet.

Hail Mary, full of grace; the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of you womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners now until the hour of our death...

God Bless Pope John Paul II. My condolences to all Roman Catholics.

Thank you for your beautiful short prayer -- my mind just seems to be stuck on our loss and very unsophisticated thoughts.
Amen!

I am neither an emotional nor a very religious person, but I feel as I have lost a member of my family and am trying to keep a stiff upper lip here at work (holding back the tears).
Pope JP II, in addition to being the namesake of my high school, was a giant among men. Persecuted by the two evil "isms" of the 20th century, he proved far stronger than any of the totalitarians who, throughout the century, sought to achieve supreme dominance and international tyranny. He was a Polish patriot and eventually became a force for international freedom as Pope.
We truly lost a great man today. RIP Karol Wojtyla. N'Strowie to you, now and forever!
