To: Dont Mention the War
I am neither an emotional nor a very religious person, but I feel as I have lost a member of my family and am trying to keep a stiff upper lip here at work (holding back the tears).

Pope JP II, in addition to being the namesake of my high school, was a giant among men. Persecuted by the two evil "isms" of the 20th century, he proved far stronger than any of the totalitarians who, throughout the century, sought to achieve supreme dominance and international tyranny. He was a Polish patriot and eventually became a force for international freedom as Pope.

We truly lost a great man today. RIP Karol Wojtyla. N'Strowie to you, now and forever!

Playing Mozart's requiem. Seems appropriate.
