Fox News correspondent now says they're waiting for confirmation from the Vatican.

The initial report on Fox News was kinda messed up.

It sounded as if there was an open mike on a reporterette somewhere, who was screaming "Why can't anybody hear me? I'm screaming into the mike!"

Then a few seconds later there was a woman's voice (maybe the same person) saying breathlessly, "The Pope is dead!"

Shep Smith apologized for the unseemly way the news came over the air.

The reporter from CNN says not to put too much stock in Reuters.

From his lips to God's ears.

It wasn't the woman's fault. Somebody patched that audio in without her knowing. Part of the audio was that she wasn't getting any feedback.

Hail Mary, full of grace; the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of you womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners now until the hour of our death...

Supposedly the shutters will be shut.

Then doors will be shut.

Pope's papal ring smashed.

A definite rite of passage.

Thank you for your beautiful short prayer -- my mind just seems to be stuck on our loss and very unsophisticated thoughts.

Amen!

CNN is saying that Reuters got their info from an Italian News Agency. CNN is saying to wait for the official Vatican confirmation.

It was horrific. I hope that woman is fired! It was awful.

She was just doing her job trying to get the news first. Mistake that it was broadcast, but that's it.

One of the century's giants.

Yes, Ronald Reagan certainly was.

we all will recieve in Heaven right?

You won't know your eternal destiny until your particular judgment. As Scripture clearly teaches, no one is guaranteed Salvation.

Raymond Arroyo announced it on EWTN. That's confirmation to me.

Actually, anyone who is in Christ is a saint. Nobody waits to be declared a saint by God, only by the Catholic Church - and its label as such is meaningless. All believers are called "saint" in scripture by the One who creted and called us into new life in Jesus.

A saint has been received into the arms of God. Peace at last.
