Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
"Can you organize or suggest to folks down there that they march for Terri's civil rights, just like the marches in the 1960s? Take the vigil out into the public, just like the civil rights marches did. March down to the courthouse, get on TV as an active group rather than a passive one."
Awesome idea, Hedge!!
EC and I met Bobby a week and a half ago in a quite setting (it was just the three of us for a while). I was thoroughly struck by his quite strength and confidence. That is a man I would vote for. He has greatness in his soul...and it shows.
If that sermon doesn't make someone shake in their boots.......nothing will!!!!
Father, help us!!!!!

Sheesha said: "My kids so want to be there. A few weeks ago my 10-year old wanted to lead a "Million Kid March" on the hospice to rescue Terri before they took out the feeding tube."
THAT is awesome too!!!!!
I think a march of kids would make such a tremendous statement and embarrass those committing sins of omission.
... and he said late yesterday that he will not.
While your three are out, many many more are in and they are being indoctrinated. How will your three fare, when you are gone and they are but a tiny minority in a mass of brainwashed citizens? All children deserve to hear the true story of America's founding and why she was so great. Society requires that the children be taught to preserve its core values so that it can persist. By writing off other peoples children, you are consigning your own to a future that is very very grim.
I hope people can get going on it. If this becomes a civil rights case, maybe the tide can be turned.
Fantastic list, Starwise!!!!!!! (((((hugs)))))
I'm copying into a file for myself. Whoever has done Terri's website really deserves our kudos!
God will NOT be mocked.. woe unto them..
Graymatter, a Terry Schiavo Republican
I wish I could be there and march in protest.. If it was in my area I would be. It is up to the local good people to not satisfy their conscience by cowering in a nice warm place and hear platitudes, empty prayers, and nice music. Especially on "Good Friday" when a lot of ppl have the day off and can be there. IMHO.
I'm a nurse as well and I agree with you 100%
Is some group planning such a march? If so, let me know - I can contact lots of families who might be able to get down there, although it's a long haul of a drive from here.
Let Glenn lead the march for Terri's civil rights when he gets off the air.
No, no. You misunderstand me. I'm not writing off anyone's children. I am writing off the public education system. There is nothing that can be acheived through that wretched system. Perhaps I misunderstood the action advocated. But, I'm certainly not writing off the children. The only way, IMHO, that anything can be acheived with educating children is by REMOVING the children from public education. They are indoctrinal incubation factories for leftists.
