Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
More than luck! God's best blessings on you all!
Greer uber alles!
I say truly this terrifies me. I must think on how to protect myself and my children.
The cruel actions of a cruel man....
O Lord, what is man that you could love him, knowihg how crue we can be?
How many mothers have gone looking for children disapeered through the evil of others? Think of all those poor mothers in WWII who had children taken away to the death camps...or so many people disapeered by death squads in central America, or all the Disapeered in Argentina, or the mothers who weep for their slaughtered sons in Darfur, and don't dare go out lest they be raped or perhaps killed themselves? Brides in India weeped over because they were killed by the bridegrooms' family as somehow not bringing in enough bride price? All the girls killed for honor crimes in various places of the world?
Grief. Murder. The weeping of a wronged mother.
And now you have given us a face to put to all these evil deeds: Terri's smile, and Mary's Shindler's tears.
Hear our prayer, O Lord,
and let our cry come unto thee!
Forgive us our heartlessness,
and teach us to love!
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
I believe that we will see some of the most cowardly actions in Congress ever in the weeks ahead. People that we once respected will have been shown to have feet of clay, when steel is required in this fight for the soul of the nation. Congress will be just as terrified of George W. Greer and his "Pinellas organization" as were the president and the governor.
God bless and protect you, FV.
Thank you sweetie. You will be richly blessed for taking a stand.
Amen!!!
In addition, take it or leave it, I heard tonight that the Sheriff's Dept. said that they would shoot FDLE if they came and tried to take Terri out of there (which is why FDLE turned around). Can't confirm or deny but this is what the chatter was.
Most of the culprits are exempt by law from suits.
I believe you are correct, and we have already seen a foretaste of that... "these are the times that try men's souls"...
The battle is just beginning....
That is a piece of cake for him, if he wants to. I will continue to try and persuade him.
The sheriff, the successor to the popular Everett Rice, is also part of the Greer organization. And I would imagine that there would be shots as directed. That's why the National Guard would have been needed. It was up to GWB to enforce the national law of March 21, but he signed off in a hurry. Now we have George W. Greer the most powerful man in America, and I gather that he relishes his role.
Well, gotta go. Her's my usual be back for the night shift BUMP
We just passed the 5,000 mark, so see y'all on the new thread.
I like that:
Judge "Because-I-Said-So"
Exactly.
Maybe he would have paid more attention to all his emails if he had been addressed properly like that.
Many of our Republican congressmen remind me of Boy Scouts -- in way big over their heads. Though their hearts are often in the right places, these gentlemen haven't a clue about the strength of the foe they face.
Let him enjoy it now... He won't be enjoying much when he stands face to face with the Lord God Almighty....
see ya later buddy.
Is somebody working on starting a new thread?
Margaret Thatcher said that R. Reagan won the cold war without firing a shot.
Now, could George W. Greer have supplanted George W. Bush without firing a shot? Surely there's more to the story.
