Day 5 going into Day 6 of no food or water for Terri.
Affidavit of William Polk Cheshire, Jr., M.D., M.A., F.A.A.N., who Examined Terri Schiavo on 3/23/05:

Florida DCF files petition for intervention:

why did they not file a petition to disqualify Judge Greer based on prejudice or bias as per Fla. Stat. § 38.10 (2004)
ok.
I'm ready! I wouldn't step foot in that state for anything after this ordeal. Someone might get injured and end up in a hospital and on the other end of the court against George Felos and his death organization.
If you want to see a beach or shore go to N.C. or S.C. but stay out of Florida. That's one thing they do understand, MONEY!
help
I am confused
What is Whittemore suposed to do at 6???
and I heard Greer has not yet ruled on the new info from the Mayo doctor?
Like I expect him to rule the right way.... but just wondering waht the heck is going on....
are people still calling Jeb? Blogs for Terri has a call to action to do so...
Does Jeb know he has his own army? Of course he does, but perhaps he cares more about what the NY Times will say about him or even link it to his brother.
I will never go to Florida if I can avoid it. Hope I don't get food poisoning on an airliner or cruise ship and have to divert there...I may not get out alive.
Amen
Good point!
Greer already ruled. Guess how.
How will he just go in and "grab" her.
Then what? Greer will issue an rule to show cause for contempt. There will be a contempt hearing. Greer will then order her tube pulled again.
What if the deputies pull their guns? Will DCF shoot back?
Please tell me, how the process is going to work?
If Jeb does do any of that, I guarantee it WILL end ANY chance for review on the federal courts.
Felos has already said it would be kidnapping and would be prosecuted. (and at this point inserting the tube would be battery) AND if that happens going into the criminal courts for Jeb would be closed.
If you have some kind of practical insight I am all ears.
ON BOTH??
I thought he ruled on Bush taking custody.... Hyscience says there is somehting else he ahsn't ruled on...
like I said-- the info is just such a mess...
I am sooo confused now...
Amen. And bless you.
I too, Lord agree with Halls prayer and I also want to pray that you would give an extra measure of strength to all those fighting this fight in Florida and here. Father, so many of us are in need of your comfort. Most especially Terri and her family.
We will pray without ceasing as we are told to do and we know You hear our prayers.
If there aren't people from MRS side monitoring our posts, I would be greatly surprised. I read here this morning that Governor Bush was on the way to Pinellas County.
LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS is something we should all keep in mind. FReepmail by trusted ping lists might be the better way to convey sensitive information.
somebody blabbed.
Loose lips sink ships.
Randall Terry's grandstand comment could have been the loose lip. I do not know.
But that type of manuver has to be done without advertising.
Terri's family is appealing Greer's cruel ruling
By the time all the footsie playing betwwen the judges is done, Terri will be dead and cremated.
But all the legal avenues will have been exhausted.
I am trying to find a FL statute showing exactly what the governor's executive powers include, but aside from him being able to use them for public safety (not just for 1 person) or violence control, I am seeing zippo...anyone else frind anything??? Remember it has to say he can pretty much do what he wants in order for it to help Terri...they can't use public safety, I know they'd say it was unconstitutional like they did before
AGREED
Yes. However, if he GRABS her pursuant to Congress New Law, They can fight it out in court for years, in the interim, the Law can be followed, and a De Novo review can be had.
A dispute between branches of government is just that a Dispute.
Judge Greer, no matter what he thinks is Not the Law.
tutstar posted a wonderful picture at #1754.
tut, hope you post it again -- so it doesn't get lost. it's too good to get lost.
I went to the suspect page with .com. Copied it in case it's needed by someone.
Yes, he ruled on custody. All I know is that was the state asking and now they are appealing to the same judge (Wittlemore) who ruled first at the federal level the other day. There was a motion Greer ruled on before ruling against the state on the custody thing. I don't know that anything else is before him on this.
