Today we met in Fayetteville, NC to Freep a motley rabble of socialists, anarchists, Code Pink-os, and other throwbacks to the 60's! As usual, we were well outnumbered by their hordes of college students, aging hippies and other bused-in protestors, but we held our own as always.

Please post any reports and observations on this thread only.

You two definitely need to meet one of these days. AQ, you were awesome yesterday. The two of you are great examples of the type of real womanhood that strengthens our military families and helps to make our country as great as it is.

The following photo was on the front page, four (or more?) columns wide, above the fold, of the Sunday Fayetteville Observer. We picked up several copies of the paper before we left town, but I forgot to take one when I dropped Kristinn off at the Bat Cave. I was going to scan in the front page and post it here. Instead y'all will just have to make do with this low res image.

The Fayetteville Observer did a very good thing by using this photo, so large, on its front page. Take a look at all those signs... that's the International Socialist Organization's "Clenched Fist" logo. The Fayetteville Observer's photo tells everyone who looks at their Sunday paper that the "pro-troops/anti-war" protesters who invaded their city are really America-hating leftists - which is exactly what we were saying, very loudly and effectively, yesterday.

I think we should all write letters to the editor of the Fayetteville Observer, thanking them for using that photo, because it tells the unvarnished truth about the radicals who are leading the "anti-war movement."

Ping 'em if you got 'em, please.

BTW, your Cuban guests were most gracious. Well, at least I think they were...I don't speak a word of Spanish. :-) One came up to talk to me as you were leaving to shake my hand.

Bar on Rann was wrestled to the ground and subdued. He was loaded in to a long gray van, the paddy wagon. The glass was tinted very dark but the driver lowered his window and gave the assembled FReepers a thumbs up.......as he drove the prisoner away.

Yes, the dems/libs are fighting among themselves.. their whole party and foundation is falling apart.
And their was a barf of a article yesterday in the NYSlimes were they said that the Republicans were fracturing and cracking apart over the Terry issue.
But, the Republicans are more resilient than that.
The Republicans have a more solid foundation than the DemWits/Libs , the DemWit/Libs are built out of a house of cards on a foundation of sinking sand.

Ok I've got a 1:57:00 20MB Video compressed as much as I can. It has atleast the one good part "8 Million Iraqi's gave Saddam the finger". Quality is ok. Anybody know someone to host this? It's 20MB so it would need somebody with a big pipe and won't be hurt by the bandwidth of downloads/views $$$ etc.
