Hmmm, I'm after a couple of bodyguards at the moment...
See post 177, with info from amdgmary, from last thread.
Awful.
Yes - I understand. But, the words used is "remove the tube." There is a difference. Most folks have been in hospital rooms and seen all the tubes and wires that they hook up for most anything. Few of us have any experience with Terri's actual situation.

URGENT ACTION TO CONTACT: As part of the House adjournment resolution, congress must agree to the Senate's HABEAS CORPUS bill to save Terri.
From a reliable source:
The House (Federal) has left for the night, but they have not adjourned for recess, as was originally thought. There must be a resolution tomorrow morning, first thing to adjourn.
House leaders, listed below, can make a condition of adjournment the
approval of the Incapacitated Persons Legal Protection Act (Habeas Corpus) a requirement.
We know as little about these things as anyone possibly could, but we've been directed to ask you that you please flood the following with emails, phone calls or faxes to insist on these conditions prior to the House adjournment.
Remember, both chambers have already approved, in some form, the
Incapacitated Persons Legal Protection Act. This is a very small step for them to finalize the measure before they recess and there is no time left for our representatives to squander. Please make contact and encourage others to.

AMEN!!!! ST. Michael is the MOST APPROPRIATE saint to pray to in times of BATTLE!!!!!
"I'm sick about this (bringing it over from previous thread):
I just got back from Woodside Hospice. The Pinellas Park Police Dept have Hospice surrounded. Several K-9 units were watching us (the dogs were barking at us). Terri has 3 police officers in her room and 2 officers guarding the entrance to her room."
Could you take some pictures so we can send them to the media.
Since Greer has ordered MS to provide a videographer to record Terri with her parents after the nutrition is withdrawn, it looks like they will be with her at least some of the time.
thanks!
I wish I could be there!!!!
IF (though I wonder if they have a conscience) the 'worker' at Howschwitz would feed Terri just before 1pm, then she wouldn't get hungry again until after her next scheduled feeding is missed. Am I right? Or is there more to this travesty?
LMAO!!
We are NOT GOING to STAND FOR THIS!!!!!!
My son has a feeding tube. We change the tube ourselves at home every couple of months. It comes out very easily and is replaced easily. The stoma will close quickly if there is no reinsertion of the tube though.
For feeding, the 'tube' is connected to the port in the belly. It is also easily connected and disconnected. The tube is connected to the port for feeding only.
Here are some pics.... (not my son...)

Terri's tube may be different. Some (such as the Bard tube) need to be changed at a hospital because the patient needs an anesthetic (HAH! I thought she couldn't feel pain!)
HTH....

Sounds like Greer wants this proud moment to be recorded visually in history.
I saw a picture of one not too long ago and part of it stays on the person between feedings and they connect the other part during the feeding. I wish I could remember the thread I saw it on. Lots of people live normal lives with feeding tubes. There are other people here that can explain it better then I can. Why don't you do a google, I bet you will find the info you are looking for
Part of the reason for the police presence in her room is to make sure they don't try to feed Terri by mouth as the court ruled they could not.
I thought it was only pictures no video
Will do and also, we should call our local U.S.REPS!!!!!!!
All 3 have shown they don't have the courage to do what is right. Jeb Bush is going to have to step up. What's he got to lose? Being governor? We'll make him President!
