Onyx's husband fell thru a glass door and severed an artery in his arm this morning. He almost bled to death while waiting for 911 to come, but they made it.
They've been at the hospital since noon, with him in and out of surgery. They are back in surgery now, with 3 surgeons trying to repair a lot of torn and severed veins and archeries. He's lost a lot of blood, they've given him 6 pints so far.
It's very complicated, but those are the basics.
whew! Glad to hear everything is going well for y'all! That's great news.
May Onyx' husband know the healing grace of Our Lord and may the whole family be granted His peace and strength.
Prayers up and will continue to pray.
Has anyone heard from onyx today?
Prayer bump
Thanks so much everybody, for your prayers and best wishes, and may God bless all of you.
He is HOME! Released 48 hours after being at death's door.
For the acccident that went so bad, so quick, his turn around is nothing short of remarkable, and I'm calling it "miraculous," ... the power of prayer.
His surgeons are a little mystified, with all the jagged, torn, and severed artery, veins, and muscles, that his radius nerve was untouched. He already has full use of his arm and hand. No nerve damage. He will have a complete recovery. He's a little weak, (blood loss) but already taking charge of his surroundings (me) and he'll be back seeing patients next Monday. He is very humbled by this thread I have printed out for him to read and wants to thank y'all for your prayers, and for being such good FRiends with his wife. He says I am blessed by everyone's friendship, and I am.
FRiends here really matter. If it's too late at night to telephone local friends, we can always find friends here at FR 24/7. Thanks again everybody, for being here for me. You're ALL special.
I missed the original thread, but will be praying for continued healing and Praises to the King of Kings.
Such great news! Praise be to God.
Thank God!
Hey, friend. Glad things are working out so well.
Now get back to posting!
WOHOOOOO ... That is such great news!!!
Tell him to rest up and take good care of himself
Thanks for the update
I will, ASAP.
Right now, I am so exhausted.
Took me 8 hours to clean up what
looked like a murder scene.
I have to sleep when he sleeps
and wait on him hand and foot.
He's supposed to eat every 3 hours
and take iron pills to build up
his blood.
He can't drive for weeks.
I'll have to be the chauffeur too.
The vascular surgeon told him, that
he has the body of a man half his age,
and I know he took that to heart,
because he has a new swagger to his walk...lol.
I age over this, and he gets younger?
Prayers Onyx, for your husband's swift recovery.

How wonderful! Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!!!
Maybe a friend can stop by and sit with him while you get some rest. Do you have any food delivery (other than Pizza)...Please don't be afraid to ask....Many are willing to help, if they know how help is needed....Will continue to pray for both of you.
Great news.
Hopefully, he will now have a fast and an uneventful recovery.
Terrific news! So happy to hear prayers answered.
May the Lord continue to heal him and may you both have a good rest now. Praise The Lord.
God Blessed you both---and I thank Him for that!!!
I'm sending up another prayer for a speedy recovery!!!
