Just conjure up some of the looks and zingers she handed to Barbara Boxer at her confirmation hearing! She would make toast out of Hil!
LOL, she sure would!
Guess who has to attend mandatory diversity training classes this year....yes me. I am dreading this so much. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks :-)
On target as usual John. Love the Condi pictures angel. Condi is my hero. I wish she would run for president.
Whatever for Colleen? Did you make a racist remark and have to go to "re-education" camp?
Mine too! If she doesn't run, we might just have to write her in! Wouldn't she make an elegant, intelligent, whup-b*** prez?!!!
Great graphic ((((((Aqua))))))
Thank you for the compliments!
It's unusually quiet.
Spooky!
It would be an absolute bloodbath (((((deadhead))))))
Hey, that's not such a bad thing, is it? :-)
Mandatory diversity training? What next.......
Hang in there. Just look at it as a learning experience, make the best of being there and it will go by quickly.
Take lots of notes. That usually makes seminars that I have attended go by fast.
(((((Nan))))))
Perhaps she (Condi) will run. That would make a lot of people (myself included) very happy! :-)
I work at a University and it is mandatory for all employees to attend the training this year. You should have seen the survey they sent out last year. I did not send back my survey. 23% of the employees responded, the University said this was a very strong response rate. The questions were so biased. It can be very trying at times, working with the academia liberal elite. I thought I knew what a liberal was before I started working there, I have received quite an education.
Will take notes, thanks dansangel :-) Just hoping my blood pressure doesn't go sky high :-)
My thoughts, exactly :-) I call the training "indoctrination classes". One of my coworkers shares many of the same views as I do, yes...all of one. Hoping he will be in the same class as me.
Oh well then, I understand now. Do I ever know what it's like in the "higher" education establishments. My daughter and her spouse are both college professors. There's no talking to them. You should have heard her the last time she visited, screaming at me how they "hate, hate, hate" Bush. Impossible. Once upon a time I had a daughter who was my best friend, a loving, bright young woman. Being in that liberal environment and being married to an idiot has turned her into a dried up, boring middle aged harpy.
I agree. Take lots of notes and share them with us here so we can laugh at the idiots.
The Chinese Red Guard called them "re-education camps".
Sad for you, Nan. You know what is strange, when I attended college over 20 years ago, as you walked on campus, there were lots of happy folks there. At the campus I work at now, they seem so sad, almost like clones. No sense of humor, a strange 'seriousness' about them. It is weird and hard to explain.
I am still in contact with my best friend from my college days, she is a lawyer in Vermont. Like your daughter and her hubby, she hates Bush. You should have seen the email exchanges we had in November...yikes! We have decided to no longer discuss politics with each other :-)
