On the other hand, I find Stephen King boring, so it's easy for me not to read him. My husband loved the book about the caretaker of the hotel in winter with the topiary but hated the movie, except for this line: Jack Nicholson: "Here's Johnny!" Yep, best line in the movie! King is OK, but I prefer Dean Koontz...don't know his politics...I don't want to know!!! Don't ask...don't tell!! ;-)

Jamie Foxx won because he literally became Ray Charles (Ray Charles was on the set of the movie several times). Mind you, it did help that Foxx was trained as a pianist at Juillard, which explains why Foxx played the piano so well in the movie.
