The pre-spin: Bush will spend about 1/2 the speech on foreign policy, 1/2 on domestic, with heavy emphasis on Social Security reform. It's said he will provide a detailed tutorial on the SS system and its problems with a few details on his personal accounts proposal.
Laura's guests are said to be an Afghan voter and an Iraqi voter (too bad there's no Ukrainian wearing an orange hat!).
Should we start a drinking game on how many times the pool camera swings to Hillary? Hmmm. Probably not...it would likely hamper out typing ability.
Word on the blogs has it that the closing part of the speech is a hum-dinger. Set your VCR's.
Report here on outrageous MediaCrat spin before AND after the SOTU. Pictures and screen caps welcome.
oh, that is to sane.
Sweet kitty picture!
Yeah! Somebody forgot to lift the eyes along with her forehead!
"We must re-invigorate the peace process in the Middle East."
Note to Nancy: it's already underway.
How many times did Reid say "Democrats"? It is all about them. That demonstrates it right there. Let's hope they keep it up. If they do, they might as well call themselves "whigs".
Thanks for the clarity on this - some seem to be thinking she got her way. Good for him. I don't even know what the malcontent looks like. Don't want to know.
...for 3 years the Bush Administration has failed to put together a comprehensive plan to prevent terrorism...
"and we did not hear one tonight" ... "cuz I had earplugs in and I certainly ain't hearing one since Pres Bush stopped speaking."
That is correct!
Let them speak. I want America to hear these losers. they are getting a nice stark contrast tonight.
Democrat Party want strong military=surrender to france.
Does Peloser look like the Geico Gecko or is it just me. I expect her to lick her eyes any minute now.
The President knows it, they know it, and they think we're too stupid to know it....but DASHOLE'S OUT....and lots of others are OUT.....
I can't believe she's still talking!!!
Can we get Zell Miller to give the sensible democratic response the the moonbat wing of the party.
Wow, what horrible speeches.
And if she doesn't stop licking her lipstick I'm gonna barf...
It was an excellant speech, don't you think?
I liked his bold stance on Social Insecurity.
His remarks were VERY encouraging. It looks like he's going to put a lot of energy into this.
However, I would have liked to see President Bush address whether guest workers will be eligible for social security, or not.
That's a big can of worms, IMO.
even people who don't pay much attention to politics will loathe Dusty Harry and Pelosi for ripping apart the President after such a dynamic speech from our commander in chief.
WE ALREADY ARE 2ND TO NONE, NANCY!!!
Woo Hoo! Can't wait to hear Rush tomorrow!!!
