Don't you hate that when it happens, my sister and I were laughing the other night. I said something my mother used to say and I immediately thought I can't believe I said that. Then again I my father used to embarrass me with some of the things he used to say about politics and now I am a couple of steps to the right of him. I guess we do become our parents. LOL

No problem. e is in charge of all special military ceremonies for Washington or something to that effect.

Question I hope hasn't been asked. I had to leave to take a pet to the vet, so was off the board for a half hour andaway from the set. When I came back coverage of the parade wasn't being shown on the networks (I don't have cable). Is cable covering it?

CSPAN is showing the parade without too much talking. Fox had a split screen with Neil Cavuto blabbering about finance. Don't know about the rest. I have cspan on, pretty good coverage. They are telling what each group is, where they are from, etc.
To: Freepertwo
Yep, it's on all the cable news channels.

We're having a bit of snow today too...Have enjoyed being in, but wouldn't have stayed home to see this four years ago. Was teaching.. Now that I'm semi retired...my schedule is much more fluid.

I am not thrilled that he is replacing Jim Angle as "chief White House Correspondent" for Fox News.I guess I'll just withhold judgement until I hear how he covers the Prez. I am sure Jim was just tired after following the president around everywhere for these past years. Maybe Carl will do a good job--maybe not, but he's the one that will be doing it so we should hope for the best coverage possible.
