I think they are trying three people altogether in this case; IIRC, there was a third person, also Muslim, who recorded or transcribed the messages from the sheik.

In any case, it would not surprise me in the least if there was a connection between this case and the death of the Armonious family. I wonder if the relative who is the interpreter has gotten any threats? I hope the FBI is looking into Yousry's connections very closely.
