Kid Rock, the vulgar rock-rapper who initially had been lined up to headline the youth concert next week as part of the inauguration festivities for President Bush, will not be apppearing after all. "He's not performing," a spokesman for the Presidential Inauguration Committee confirmed for WND. No further information about the cancellation of Kid Rock was available at press time. Word that the rapper will not join JoJo and Hilary Duff as performers at the Jan. 18 concert, which will be hosted by Bush twins Barbara and Jenna, comes after WorldNetDaily and other outlets publicized the fact that the committee was planning to feature Kid Rock, which caused several pro-family organizations to ask their supporters to protest his appearance. Exactly. Now think about what I said about Kid Rock. He has taken a stand against a great evil. Not all evil but as far as evil's go murder is one of the big ones.
So as this is a good thing brought out of the treasures of his heart then we must conclude....
Are you my judge?
Not at all. but I have heard a lot of judgemental statements coming from you.
Nobody here on earth is fit to judge, regardless of what a number of folks here seem to think.
I was on that thread and didn't see anyone get "damned to hell". I think there were 1000 posts or so by the end. The Bible is clear on many moral issues. Divorce is just one of them.
Finish your sentence. What must we conclude? That his song about pimping Barbara Bush also comes from his beautiful heart?
Holey Guacamoley.........they're still at it?
Then they just continue, from what I've seen.
Ten feet tall and bulletproof, I guess.
Yes, because she's hot.
Never quite understood them any more then I understood those who think that it is possible to hurry events to "help The Almighty out."
From what I read in scripture neither of these view points tend to end well.
If you love tolerance so much, start tolerating Christian conservatives. Practice what you preach. Lead by example.
He's what I would call the PhotoShop Brite-Smile candidate. On his website, he has a picture of himself and his teeth have been photoshopped to whiter than white.
And if you were to purchase his latest album from your local Walmart I think that would also end the argument."
Hear, hear, cain. ESPECIALLY your LAST point. The Kid has grown, as have we ALL. Not to say that I don't also like his earlier work. His beliefs, faith, integrity, generosity, and humbleness make him the good person that he is. Hopefully more people will come to know that.
I think Christ used that scripture to admonish one of his apostles. If I'm correct one of the apostles was complaining to Jesus that another person was seen casting out demons in Christ's name. Jesus said "he who is not against me, is with me".
Maybe, but it's not for the self-righteous to judge the lady in question. And that DID take place, even if the exact phrase "damned to hell" didn't occur.
That's between her and God........
LOL.......and not just me!!!!!
There is no issue with a Christian judging right and wrong or identifying sin as long as it is a judgment based upon the ruling already made by the Almighty.
I never said it was beautiful. I do not judge such things. But as the scripture says "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit."
So we are left with a quandary. Can it be that his heart is turning from evil to good? If so is not part of our job not to put a stumbling block in his path?
Thanks again, Howlin. Very much appreciated.
