Kid Rock, the vulgar rock-rapper who initially had been lined up to headline the youth concert next week as part of the inauguration festivities for President Bush, will not be apppearing after all. "He's not performing," a spokesman for the Presidential Inauguration Committee confirmed for WND. No further information about the cancellation of Kid Rock was available at press time. Word that the rapper will not join JoJo and Hilary Duff as performers at the Jan. 18 concert, which will be hosted by Bush twins Barbara and Jenna, comes after WorldNetDaily and other outlets publicized the fact that the committee was planning to feature Kid Rock, which caused several pro-family organizations to ask their supporters to protest his appearance. Grandma Barbara or granddaughter Barbara?
You're right "all" americans were represented on the deck of the USS Cole.
One you allow politicians in, you open the door to everyone.... 8>)
BWAHAHAHA!!
You are so bad. :)
You and Farah can keep it up, but I hope you realize that too much nagging and nannyism often produces a backlash and marginalization, and increases the likelihood that Giuliani wins the GOP primary. Social conservatives are not the majority of the GOP, and thus we need votes from other wings of conservatism to win. Spit on 'em too much, and they may surprise you.
You are tho thilly!
Already here, shaking my head.
Aren't we in the least defined by our words?
Not all supporters of President Bush belong to the Christian Taliban.
Kid Rock should have been able to perform.
This reminds me of the 80's when James Watt(?) whined about the Beach Boys performing.
I hope it's not a real story. If it is, we look incredibly stupid. KR performed at the FRIGGIN' GOP CONVENTION, fercryinoutloud. He didn't appear on TV, but he performed at a youth rally/party the Twins attended. Sure didn't hear much of an uproar about that.
Do we define Bush by his actions as a young man?
Hey HLL- lots of people use the dreaded 4 letter words- get over it!
Heck, our nation's tolerance of social liberty/decadence/call-it-what-you-will is one of the things that the Muslim fanatics hate about the U.S. and that President Bush is doing his best to defend.
The sad thing is, folks like that here on FR, and out in "the real world" get more ink than the rest of us. We all end up looking like we think/feel/act the same way.
Well, I don't want them or anyone else speaking for me. I'm beginning to wish there were some stronger Independent candidates, or Libertarians that aren't completely whacked out.
For now, we're just gonna have to find a way to get louder, I guess. I'd really rather not go that route, if possible.
It is possible that this was a setup by WND, which would not surprise me. They have been acting quite oddly.
Most of Kid Rock's stuff is desperately sad.
"Do we define Bush by his actions as a young man?"
Good point, I guess in that case we ought to disqualify him as president...at least according to the standards of the taliban wing of the republican party.
What a crock of poop!
I could think of worse directions in which to go.
