*Ahem*

Well, at least you had someone set it up! I haven't even gone that far!
I'll come down there and help you school the people in your building that need some knowledge. I'll bring a fresh young edge to it that the older folks will dig (Har-har) :0)

I teach old folks how to golf, some of them you can get through to...some you can't! They still think Truman is in charge of their party.

I am lucky. Most all the old people I'm around quit being democrats when either LBJ or Carter was in office. The rest bailed out when Clinton was in.

I can't imagine hanging around after Clinton was in there doing his thing, so to speak.
But my saintly little grandma practically worships Clinton. I think it's a lost cause.

I wish I could but I'm stuck here in MD. with no transportation and no money to relocate, then there's medical considerations too. but if I could I'd move to the reddest state I could find in a New York minute!

Hi Pippin. I agree with everyone else. Just ignore her on the subject. My dad hates GWB, thinks 911 was all his fault etc. There's a rule in our house where politics is off limits although we got into a heated debate one night recently...Unfortunately Mr. D. was not home to "kick me". Both dad and I spent the rest of the night "licking our wounds". Although "misguided" dad is a wonderful person and yes...I think he thinks it's still the party of Truman. (((((pippin)))))

Probably a waste of time and would just stress the relationship. When there is an election just tell her that the date has changed due to weather and it will be next Tuesday! ; )
