Received this in my e-mail this morning (thanks, scubachick), thought I would pass it on to my friends.
I Am the New Year
I am the New Year. I am an unspoiled page in your book of time.
I am your next chance at the art of living. I am your opportunity to practice what you have learned about life during the last twelve months.
All that you sought and didn't find is hidden in me, waiting for you to search it but with more determination.
All the good that you tried for and didn't achieve is mine to grant when you have fewer conflicting desires.
All that you dreamed but didn't dare to do, all that you hoped but did not will, all the faith that you claimed but did not havethese slumber lightly, waiting to be awakened by the touch of a strong purpose.
I am your opportunity to renew your allegiance to Him who said, "Behold, I make all things new."

Hi Dolly. Sounds like you're going to have a great New Years Eve AND day. We got 20 inches of snow last week and had hoped to get some cross country skiing in but wasn't meant to be...and now it's all turning to slush! Bummer! Hope we have an Ohio/WV gettogether soon!
To: dutchess
Yikes...a freeper addict's nightmare!!!! That's for sure.........but I was amazed at what I accomplished around the house........plus 2 batches of pepper jelly and an unplanned on pot roast dinner!!!
I bet if I pretended I had no phone service for 6 hours a day twice a week - I would be the next Martha Stewart!!!!!
