The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.
Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views.
More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

TAMPA, Fla. -- In a legal case prone to dramatic developments and courtroom showdowns, recent weeks have been relatively subdued in the Terri Schiavo case where a series of small legal maneuvers haven't garnered much attention.
But the recent developments in the case are leading up to a pivotal decisions in the long-running legal battle over the fate of the 41-year-old, severely brain-damaged woman whose parents and husband disagree over whether she should live or die.
"It's definitely a turning-point week," said Barbara Weller, an attorney for the Schindlers.
The case is being fought on three fronts: in Florida at the 2nd District Court of Appeal in Lakeland, at Pinellas County probate court and at the U.S. Supreme Court.
Parents Bob and Mary Schindler are seeking a new trial on their daughter's wishes both from the 2nd District Court of Appeal and in Pinellas County they have asked a judge to set aside his ruling that Terri Schiavo did not want to be kept alive artificially.
The U.S. Supreme Court is considering whether to take up the case of whether Florida Gov. Jeb Bush overstepped his authority when he blocked Terri Schiavo's death in October 2003.
The nation's high court is expected to meet on Jan. 21 behind closed doors to discuss whether it will take the case. The court could chose not to decide immediately and ask for further filings, but it also has the option of making a decision that day.
How much longer that can go on is something neither side is willing to predict given the volatile nature of the case.
For now, Terri Schiavo's feeding tube can't be removed under an indefinite stay issued by Circuit Court Judge George Greer of Clearwater. Greer, the same judge who twice authorized her husband to disconnect the tube, issued the stay late last year pending any appeals in the state courts.
Terri Schiavo will soon mark her 15th year of being kept alive by the tube. In February 1990, she suffered severe brain damage when a chemical imbalance brought on by an eating disorder caused her heart to stop beating.
She can breathe on her own, but requires the tube to take in food and water. The court has ruled she is in a persistent vegetative state with no hope for recovery, but her parents say other doctors believe their daughter could regain some level of functioning with proper rehabilitation.
The Schindlers say their daughter is at least aware enough to react to them, cry and laugh.
"She is just so human and alive it just breaks your heart," said Weller, who recently visited Terri Schiavo. The attorneys are now asking that Terri Schiavo be brought to court for proceedings involving her -- which they contend is her right.
"For the judges to determine her fate without ever setting eyes on her is just a travesty," Weller added.
George Felos, the attorney representing Michael Schiavo, said the issues the Schindlers are now raising have been litigated and resolved before.
"It's hard for me to believe it can happen, but each motion becomes more frivolous that the one before," Felos said in a recent interview.
Felos said Michael Schiavo -- who twice had his wife's feeding tube disconnected, only to have it reinserted once by order of a judge and a second time by order of the governor -- does not believe he needs a new order allowing the tube to be removed again once the legal battle is over.
That too is likely to set off another round of legal maneuvers because those seeking to keep Terri Schiavo alive contend that new permission is needed.
"I don't know how the court is going to treat this latest, bogus motion," Felos said of the request for a new trial. "I certainly would hope no court would seek a stay on this frivolous motion, but a judge did on the last one. We're just going to have to take it one day at a time and see how it proceeds."

It's not just Florida ACLU, etc. Do you understand that it goes up to the Governor's office and the Office of the President among other things of course? If it didn't do you think this would still be happening right now?
One year later and all of our Representatives have their thumbs up their you know whats. Their words are worthless and so are their intentions to stop this madness. Terri shouldn't have merely been saved from being dehydrated and starved.. she should have been afforded the therapy/rehab she needed. It's way over one year later and she hasn't received the help she needs. Who to go to? Who to trust? Who is going to do something about this?
Look at the interview from PBS with Johnny Byrd and Ken Goodman.. Bryd needs to be held to his word so to speak! We need to hold him accountable. What has he done since he spoke the words he did on PBS? There are some very important things he said. What are they doing over 1 year later? I have heard things that disturb me about his office.

Byrd's no longer Speaker of the House. Allan Bense is the Speaker of the Fla House and Leslie Waters (from Pinellas) is Speaker Pro Tem (2nd in command).
Byrd lost his enthusiasm for Terri's situation after he lost the US Senate election. I talked his his staff attorney who made a very harsh comment that Terri's just one person. I can't recall his other harsh remarks but I posted them here on a Terri thread probably after the November 2nd election. I was appalled.
Forget BYRD. He's not got any power. Think Bense and Waters and think U.S. SENATOR MARTINEZ WHO IS FROM ORLANDO, FL.
He isn't in Elder Affairs.. what I was trying to point out was that these interests are interwoven with Office of Elder Affairs and on up to the Governor if you read the brochure. There is a woman who is General Counsel to the Governor who is among these interests who obviously are in cahoots with Hospice of the Florida Suncoast among others. Why else does Terri continue to be held hostage by the very people trying to kill her and our Governor does nothing about it and why AHCA coverups up anything wrong, etc. when it is blatant and plain as day there are many things that are serious illegal and wrong going on in regards to Terri's treatment and care, etc. and denial of rehab and therapy way over one year later from her being "saved". What about helped!?
