Hi, Churchillbuff:

Correction on "The Maltese Falcon: "The stuff dreams are made of."

Great lines from "The Usual Suspects"

Here's a few more: J.E. Freeman in "Miller's Crossing"
"I'm goning to put you in a deep dark place. And have fun doing it!"

Another, by Jon Polito: "I wanna talk about... et-ticks!"

From "Buckaroo Banzai": "No matter where you go. There you are."

From "Full Metal Jacket": "We're Jolly Green Giants roaming the earth. With guns!"

Another:
Joker: "How can you kill women and children?"
Door Gunner: "You don't lead 'em as much!"

Jack.

Hey..what was the title of the film where he was a fake defector to the Axis, on a ship with Greenstreet and Lorrie...and in the fog, on the deck at night, there is a loud noise...Greenstreet pulls his .32/.380 auto out of his waistband, Bogie pulls his 1911 .45 out of his waistband, and calmly says, with a smirk..."mine's bigger than yours."

Another GREAT line in the film, which I have used occasionally with certain foreign dignitaries myself, BTW, a young, sneering Nazi lad brags how they are going to over-run America and dominate our effeminate masses...and Bogie says "I don't mean to tell you your business, general...but there's a couple of neighborhoods in Brooklyn I suggest you don't try to invade."

Yes, I remember that line, too; one of many good ones in Blue Velvet.

Flunky to Frank: "Do you want me to pour the beer?"

Frank: "No, I want you to f*ck it! Pour the f*ckin beer!"

Oliver Platt Thank you, I could only think of Oliver. I liked him in Diggstown and Three Musketeers as well.

Mars Attacks has some great quotes, though I guess that movie is a "Love it or Hate it" type.

"Do you have to drink in front on me?" (Annette Benning playing a recovering alcoholic)

"You're an adult. Just cope" (Jack Nicholson, who could care less)
