I am being sued for something that happened at the December 2000 Freep of Joe Lieberman.

JimRob has allowed me to hold an internet fundraiser to help defray the costs of my lawyers fees.

I am broke and thousands of dollars in debt, and depending on how much I can collect here, I amnot sure if I can continue or work to sign a mutual release if offered.

Right now, we have ended the discovery phase, and are awaiting the deposition of the man who accused me of assaulting him that day.

That charge is a lie.

The following story below is my short account of what happened that day.

This case is one of many that illustrates that there has to be tort reform, that we have to have freedom from fear of frivolous and unfair lawsuits that are nothing more than legal extortion.

There is even a word for it: liticaphobia -- the fear of lawsuits.

Agree 100%, there has to be tort reform and soon. This "reverend" Boise should end up having to pay ALL of RaceBannon's legal fees in the end, along with whatever real damages (lost work, hassles) he has caused.

Of course the AFL-CIO and the other mobsters would have little trouble paying a few thousand for legal fees, whereas a common person would be devastated by the same loss.

This is definitely a frivolous lawsuit. A PI should be able to get some pictures showing the "gentleman" doing all sorts of actions that he claims he cannot. I have seen this happen plenty of times in court.
