I am being sued for something that happened at the December 2000 Freep of Joe Lieberman.

JimRob has allowed me to hold an internet fundraiser to help defray the costs of my lawyers fees.

I am broke and thousands of dollars in debt, and depending on how much I can collect here, I amnot sure if I can continue or work to sign a mutual release if offered.

Right now, we have ended the discovery phase, and are awaiting the deposition of the man who accused me of assaulting him that day.

That charge is a lie.

The following story below is my short account of what happened that day.

As many have said in this post, I can't afford it either, but I've sent some sawbucks via paypal. Just have to work harder and earn some more money. Damn the Taxachussets colletors, damn the utilites, damn them all!

Read Little Bill's appeal on the MA board (that was all I needed), then read the 1000+ posts on the fund raising post.

Read your "backsliding" post after your father's death. Have been on a steady backslide/mid-life crisis myself since my one of my brother's diagnosis with the big C, his battle, and demise. I'm getting over it, just not as fast as I want to.

Read your USMC service. Haven't served myself, but you stood on the wall for us.

Read your CAD background. Got into my current IS career on Calcomp Mini-computer CAD systems myself (self-taught in IS, EE by background). Kuddos, takes a certain kind of brain to do CAD.

I know someone who had a similar thing happen to them. With a good attorney it never made to court--was thrown out because person claiming assault was blocking the only exit to the room.

In your case I hope they would be able to use his past background of fraud as it does apply to this case.

We've been to bussy to BS about politics at work today. I've got the moderates swinging my way and let my Liberal division officer read my copy of Hillary's Secret War by Richard Poe a must read by all FReeper! (no your not getting my copy when i get it back I'm mailing it to my dad then he's going to hopefully pass it around.) At first he was compiling well all this book dose is advertise web pages. By the time he got done with it he was saying how can people get away with stuff like this in this country. He's back to his usual Liberal ways, but there was a seed planted. Maby it will grow. I think if i feed some Ann Colter To him that could do it. Whoo hoo i almost forgot tomorow is WED Ann Colter Day on WND! Hey Jarhead, I was in Team Spririt in 1981. I was with MAG-15 from Iwakuni. We lost a guy to carbon monoxide poisoning from a charcoal heater at a local 'establishment' shall we call it.
