Hey Jarhead, I was in Team Spririt in 1981. I was with MAG-15 from Iwakuni. We lost a guy to carbon monoxide poisoning from a charcoal heater at a local 'establishment' shall we call it.
Does that ring any bells with you?

I was offshore the whole time, we got lined up for the helo lift, they took in one or two companies ashore, but for some reason the air lift stopped and we had to back up.
So, No, I never heard that story. Did you hear of a crash on one of the ships in March of 81 that happened on our way to Korea?
