When Scott Peterson was in college there was a girl who went missing at his school. He supposedly left school in the middle of the semester. Does anybody remember this?

You know, I did hear 'something' about that during the course of this past year, but forgot about it. They never talked about it more then once, that I heard.

Pretty strange. HE'S pretty strange!

Too bad for Scottie that Dick DeGuerin was busy getting Robert Durst off his murder charge even after Durst admitted chopping us his victim and dumping it in the bay.

Hell, Durst even jumped bail before the trial.
And to top that, Durst was held without bond on the bail jumping and cutting up a dead body. By the time that trial came up, Deguerin got him off on time served.

Too bad for Scottie!

Yes, he made them get a search warrant. He also washed his clothes he wore fishing. What a guy!

Ok! Don't beat me up!

I already said several times that I didn't watch Nancy that much. But the few times I did catch her, it seemed to me that she felt that there wasn't enough evidence to convict Snott.

Then someone posted earlier that she was choking back tears when she was telling the verdict. I just assumed from what I witnessed with her and that she was crying, that she felt the verdict was not fair.

But like I said: what do I know. I don't watch Court TV. I stick to Fox.

Didn't the NY Post have a headline about Durst something like "Run for your lives, he's free"?

I found both the OJ and Durst verdicts incredible.

And now Geragos refuses to even stand by his client. Some on Court TV were saying this is unheard of (unless there is some huge family emergency) when the client's life is at stake.

And here's the best part: Sharon Rocha can go and sit in Laci's baby room now any time she wants to; she now owns it. Oh I forgot about that lovely little in-your-face fact.

During dinner we listened to Joe Taccopino (sp?) go on at length about MG not being present during the verdict and the consensus was that it's simply inexcusable and there is no conceivable reason for his not being there. Joe said if his explanation is due to his involvement in the other case, it does not compare in severity and his place was beside his client as the verdict was read. I hope MG's days are numbered.

I think there are many here who are more relieved this is over than the election campaign.

I think that there was discussion yesterday on Court TV that Geragos was in LA today for a perliminary hearing and wouldn't be in Redwood City if the verdict came in. I guess that the Peterson's weren't paying him enough. They probably don't have anything left to mortgage.

Durst was a cross-dresser, so watch out for that sweet little old lady down the street, sometimes things aren't what they seem!

I think I heard that he was out of town and not going to be able to be present when the verdict was read.

He's passing out press releases that state that, yes, even after losing this case, the Winona Ryder case, and exhibiting an inability to free Susan McDougal from jail for months, Mark Geragos is a really, really good defense attorney!

Can somebody tell me where this guy got his reputation?

Nancy is a very PRO prosecution gal.

I haven't watched her lately but I know she is always against the defense because of something that happened in her life. I think it was a boyfriend that was killed.

I'm guessing the tears may have been for the proper verdict of this scumbag.

That stunt with the boat was truly abominable.

As was his absence during the verdict. Legal eagles on Court TV are all taking him to task for not being there to support his client while the verdict was read, adding the least he should do is to visit during the weekend and then get busy on the penalty phase.

Scott Peterson was joking when he entered the courtroom (IDIOT) but wasn't when the verdict was read.

Looks like the "joke" is on him. The arrogant psycho surely thought he would fool everybody and escape justice. Think again, Scotty. Enjoy cavorting with your butt-buddies until the day they slip in the needle.

Yep .. she didn't put up with stuff like that

The Firm I worked for had a great staff to work with and we had a lot of laughs.
