Which Fox News anchors/reporters/pundits/hosts do you think are really, sincerely right-leaning? (VANITY)
We probably all prefer Fox News over CNN, CNBC, the network news shows, etc.
But I was wandering as I was watching the election night coverage and Brit Hume seemed so giddy with excitement when Bush started to pull away - what are the true political leanings of the Fox News staff?
My take:
Bill O'Reilly - Basically a slightly left-leaning Libertarian redeemed by a belief in a vigorous American foreign policy and a sneering content for the MSM
Brit Hume - love the guy....with us 100%, I believe...I LOVED the way he interacted in such an over-the-top way with Susan Estritch on election night basically wiping her face with Kerry's loss....
Fred Barnes - same as Brit, 'red' to the core....but fair and honest in his analysis..
Shep Smith - seems to also take glee in Democratic pain but not so sure....his very patriotic stances make me think he's one of us, though...
Sean Hannity - no issues with Sean....
Morton Kondracke - middle of the road leftie but fair....
Greta Van Susteren - big time left winger if I had to guess...
Juan Williams - leftie....no doubt about it....
What do you all think???
I wish Rita would stop that stupid pouty lips pursed thing she does, it makes her look dumb.
I turn it off when she comes on.
Whatever you say.
I'm a guy, I can't help it....
Must have never noticed anything Martha said.
p.s. you can have Greg if I get Linda ;-p
I do too. I won't watch her.
she is rarely given a political assignment. good thing.
Tony Snow is a definite. After all, he was a speech writer for Bush Sr.
Why do I get the feeling that neither would give a hoot about either of us? I guess since you can use the old "I'm a guy, I can't help it" excuse, I'll attribute my "feeling" to "women's intuition". LOL
Sing it with me, FL_engineer: "I like dreamin'..."
he worked a long shift. i especially liked it when about 2am a "klunk" was heard. britt mumbled something about the makeshift election night table starting to fall apart...(not as good as his treatment of susan ostrich, however)
I agree with you for the most part. I am not so sure Shep is right leaning. He was pretty hard on the President the other day during the election. Juan is so left he has to turn left to go left.
colonel hunt does not belong on tv. i think he gets the assignments that general vallely can't make.
greta reminds me of the old "clutch cargo" cartoons.
so, what is it like living a life of perpetual joy?
i don't care what his political leanings are, carl has earned a long vacation.....
i remember him redeeming himself by saying that the world needs more grumpy old men like cheney
"i remember him redeeming himself by saying that the world needs more grumpy old men like cheney"
LOL yeah and further redeeming himself (in a big way) when he called Ohio for Bush!! He's ok in my book :)
Did he really? He's right! *LOL*
Thanks for your interesting post. Somehow I actually missed Estrich being there. She has always seemed a bit "wobbly" to me, mentally and physically. *LOL*
Julian makes no sense -- he quotes the Bible and pulls for the party that murders babies.
