Which Fox News anchors/reporters/pundits/hosts do you think are really, sincerely right-leaning? (VANITY)
We probably all prefer Fox News over CNN, CNBC, the network news shows, etc.
But I was wandering as I was watching the election night coverage and Brit Hume seemed so giddy with excitement when Bush started to pull away - what are the true political leanings of the Fox News staff?
My take:
Bill O'Reilly - Basically a slightly left-leaning Libertarian redeemed by a belief in a vigorous American foreign policy and a sneering content for the MSM
Brit Hume - love the guy....with us 100%, I believe...I LOVED the way he interacted in such an over-the-top way with Susan Estritch on election night basically wiping her face with Kerry's loss....
Fred Barnes - same as Brit, 'red' to the core....but fair and honest in his analysis..
Shep Smith - seems to also take glee in Democratic pain but not so sure....his very patriotic stances make me think he's one of us, though...
Sean Hannity - no issues with Sean....
Morton Kondracke - middle of the road leftie but fair....
Greta Van Susteren - big time left winger if I had to guess...
Juan Williams - leftie....no doubt about it....
What do you all think???
ED Hill is a Democrat and she leaned left this whole election.
ED Hill was giddy over Kerry -- when did she start supporting Bush?
I think Shep is left leaning. Brit is very fair. You could tell election night, he was really irritated by the deliberate attempt by the rest of the media to not call the final states for Bush. ORielly is misguided but means well. Greta and Juan are liberals. Mort is a Zell Miller Democrat. Fred is one of us. Mara and CiCi are liberalto the core. They belong on CNN.
He is too much of an appeaser. He thinks Bush ought to give in to the liberals too much. He kept insisting Bush should apologize to the country about the WMD issue. That would have been political suicide.
I think Mort Kondracke used to be a lefty, but I've noticed that lately he's always agreeing with Fred Barnes.
Mort is a stereotypical milquetoast moderate.
What about Reta Cosby? To Me she is very genuine.
The guy in the wheelchair is Charles Krauthaummer, columnist at the Washington Post
I agree. She adds nothing to Fox. I turn her off.
What about Dari Alexander (very right)?? and Geraldo (middle)??
Bill Kristol is super right. He loves Bush ! Don't know where you got the impression that he didn't.
Brit #1 - He leans to the right, I enjoy watching him.
Sean - Great
Alan - We all know where he stands, but he's entertaining.
O'Reilly - He cares too much about his ratings.
Barnes - ok
Kondrake - Left
Juan - don't like him, left as they come.
Greta - Leans to the left
Shep - I like him, I think he's middle road.
Of course my very farorit guests are Ann and Laura, I really wish they had a show, I would not miss a one.
We love Shepard Smith
I remember the first time I saw Shep. He covered the Columbine School shootings.
I just love it when Juan Williams loses it.
O'Reilly a libertarian? Do you know what the word means?
I disaggree. Chris Wallace is an excellent reporter and tries his best to be fair. I'm willing to bet that he's a great disappointment to his family of leftoid wingnuts.
He was a 1stClass Klinton a$$-ki$$'r before he got to FOX, and his worthless contribution(to the enemy) during the Iraq invasion just highlighted his desperate hunger for self-promotion ... They oughta fire both he and his brother the Whoraldo-booster.
They should both be working for some 2nd rate fish-wrap tabloid in London.
P A T H E T I C is the word.
I can never remember his name... thanks
I noticed that, too. He got on GWB's case in 2000 and has stayed on it. What about Carl Cameron? He covered Kerry's campaign. I've always thought he was right leaning.
