who will it be
Unfortunatly you are correct. But he is the only guy from inside the Beltway that seems to understand things like stupid gun control laws......
I think a ticket that would give the Dems fits would be McCain/Bush. Jeb could deliver Florida, and the Democrats already gushed over how great McCain is. And remember, he did campaign pretty hard for W. and turned down those numerous power-bribes from Kerry to accept the V.P. slot. It would almost be check-mate (I say, sitting here in 2004).
George Allen/Michael Steele - shores up the conservative and southern base, increases the Black and Catholic vote (via Steele), and we may even carry the state of Maryland !!
Rudy Giuliani/Bill Frist
THAT'S the ticket.
If the travesty of abortion on demand could be ruled unconstitional on the grounds that it denies LIFE then Giuliani's pro-choice position becomes a moot point.
The trolls never answer such questions.....
Agreed. Besides, rumor has it that Condi wants to go back to Stanford.
Maybe Jeb/Giuliani or Jeb/Santorum...
i'm only 15 but started reading powerline and following RCP a few months ago. my lib teachers, many less intelligent than me, make me mad, but alas, i had the last laugh, whenever they get angry i just say "you're just mad cuz kerry lost" and they go off.
Wesley Clark is the only prospect to worry about from the RATS, I'm from IL and Obama has a liberal record that could be easily exposed
Peggy Noonan would chew Hillary up and spit her out.
Jeb Bush (or maybe Barbara (Jr)) would be a great running mate.
NOONAN/BUSH '08. GO PEGGY!!!!
"please explain the word Rhino to me"
RINOs? Think Specter, Pataki, McCain (frequently) et al.
Senator George Allen (former VA Governor) and J.C. Watts, my former Congressman
"Bill Frist"
I'm from TN and would back him ONLY if he gets more backbone...IE...the 60% voting rule in the Senate...
At this point, I see Jeb as our strongest possible candidate.
i agree with J.C. Watts. he has a nice calm manner. Don't know if there's fire in his speeches though.
McCain doesn't understand rural america. He is too liberal. I think Newt Gingrich is our man.
Rudy & Condi? Dream team.
