I agree.
I was very upset with Mrs. Edwards' conduct during the campaign. However, this is cancer and it is an entirely different matter. She has young children and there are no guarantees with any treatment. I remember Rosie O'Donnell apparently tellng a CA survivor that Cancer happens to people who "lie" or something equally horrible. None of us know why, where or when, only the good Lord.
The best PR for Freepers would be to send her wishes of health and peace, even though we are on different political planets. I will put her in my prayers.
Now, in regards to Arafat, I have to pray that God does not convict me of my wishes for that evil man!

Yup. One of the advantages of living in a smallish city. They have all the tools, but not the long lines to use them.
Of course, we moved from CA to St. Paul, so we're in a bigger market now.
If I were a doctor, I'd be frightened to treat the wife of a guy who sues doctors for a living.
But maybe that's just me.

I'm confident, however, that despite the best efforts of the trial lawyers she will get amazingly effective medical care. I wish Mrs. Edwards the best of luck.
I feel sorry fo her kids. More so now.
I think we should organize supportive and loving get well cards to send to her.
We need to let her know we are Republicans.
That would do wonders for her attitude and outlook.
I think it would help recovery.
I don't much care for her or her husband's politics, or their antics during the campaign. However, she is a human being, a wife and a mother, and I wish her a quick and complete recovery so that she and her family can enjoy a normal life with each other.
She has my prayers.
(But I'm also praying that Edwards finds the wisdom to use his new found free time to support his wife instead of channeling his bitterness into a lawsuit)

I will definitely be praying for her and her family. This will be very hard on those small children as she goes through treatment.

I realize you probably didn't mean what you just posted in that line, but I just have to say this to everyone....we must not become vile but rather show our Christian traits of compassion. This woman just found out she has breast cancer. Breast cancer is a terrifying verdict, and I would encourage people to refrain from being mean towards this woman.
