So let's see, you know how to read God's mind and tell which cancers are his revenge and which aren't? How about the mother of three young children down the street from me who is dying of melanoma. I'm just curious.

I'm certain you meant no ill will. And I take no offense. Cancer is a very touchy subject, as you can see by the response you are getting.

When I was diagnosed, I asked, "Why did God do this to me? What did I do to deserve this?"

Quite frankly, I was mad at Him for a while. But I learned in time that God has a plan for me, whether I understand it or approve. I just have to trust in him and have faith in His wisdom.

A friend told me, "God only gives you what he thinks you can handle, Chris. I guess He has a lot of faith in you."

And I guess He does, because here I am!
