As an interesting exercise overlay a crime statistic map over that.

Uh-huh. As an interesting exercise, renormalize this map against a very specific demographic of voters, and you will find the virtually the entire map turns red. You can also renormalize against that group for the crime statistic, and you will find that the United States has the lowest crime rate in the world.

I like it. I say give that territory to them, then attack and take it back while they take the global test.Then we give them surrender terms that let them back;BUT; they lose their right to ever vote again.

In the second map, I like the way they include only the coastal strip of California in "their" part (but should do the same for Washington and Oregon).

I agree, only the coastal strip of OR and WA should be included. If you look at the USA Today county map the majority of OR and WA is red. Long live the Republic of Texas!
